Today's match should be a great one with so many proven players!
|
NSHS got raped by StarTaleQ in GSTL. Apart from Jjakji there is none near the FXO powerhouses (Gumiho / Oz / Leenock / Lucky)
Still hoping for a good match though, just highly doubt that they will stand a chance. Especially since Gumiho should be able to take out Jjakji quite easily.
|
Hoseo's got this in the bag.

Fixed. Don't see FXO losing this, but Hoseo are known for upsetting seemingly better teams in team league. Would love to see a Leenock v Jjakji rematch!

I have to generally agree with you, though I am rooting for NSHoseo to pull out the upset. After Jjakji beating Leenock in the GSL was a pretty significant upset.

Its a nickname for jjakji, presumably because noone can spell it correctly.

I love how excited Joshy gets when he casts...

I hope NsHoSeo will win but I think the odds are against them, also FXO always puts up their best players in team leagues. =/

ManZenith has something to say about that.

ign really needs to get a dedicated obs, so many moments have been missed in the game TT
|
Josh, I enjoy your cast but please let doa control the camera, you missed a lot of drops and stuff in this game.
|
Wow... how did San lose that? He was up by like double supply, three bases to two (to one, almost?)... and he just pissed that game away waiting too long. :/ Never let a terran get back into the game like that!

Oh yeah! Gumiho is so good.

he attacked into Gumiho's sieged tankline and lost wayyyy too much because Gumiho took out his reinforcements with a drop between his main and his army

Btw I loved the way he mixed marauders that helped him greatly to break the siege line.

Pretty sure it went:
Gumiho edges up troops to start threatening tank line. Gumiho's little bio hitsquad wanders around between contain and jjakji's nat, takes out a couple of reinforcing units. Jjakji tries to crush Gumiho as he tries to sneak out further but instead just takes a ton of losses himself. Jjakji deals with the bio hitsquad Gumiho pushes out with a small scv buffer to shatter the contain.

Gumiho continuing to look incredibly solid. Soon he will be the new Jjakji who no one was talking about, but is all of a sudden the big shot.
|
anyway, jjakki played very bad.
|
Damn gumiho has 8 kills already from 2 matches.

Man, it sucks to see how little attention the community gives to this great tournament. Ipl needs more hype!
|
Jakji road a Terran wave as far as he could, but with the Ghost nerf that was just announced, it looks like he will be one of the least memorable GSL champions ever.
LEENOCK'S REVENGE!~

LEENOCK'S REVENGE!~ It's most likely the "I suddenly got more money than I ever had so I don't play the game that much recently" syndrome imo. He's just not playing at his usual level.

Mr Con, I am glad you know Jjajki's playing schedule

Really, I think it's b/c he's one of those players that look shockingly good when given time to prepare. I mean the games against Leenock were damn amazing as were his games against Oz, Puzzle and Parting (though he lost). But he's just some above-average terran without time to prepare IMO. When I watch his games in the Korean weekly, he really is just another good Korean terran.

The over saturation does not worry me as much as the subsequent "purging" that forces the market back into equilibrium. So many great tournaments and I am not ready to part with any of them.

LEENOCK'S REVENGE!~ I don't ever remember jjakji using mass ghosts to beat leenock or any other zerg. And this was when all the terrans were getting taken out by leenock.
|
For some reason I don't get hyped as much when it's Korean team vs Korean team in IPL. When it's Korean vs Foreigner though... oohhh boy how I love those.
In a scale of 10 to 0:
1. Korean vs Foreigner - 10 2. Korean vs Korean - 5 3. Foreigner vs Foreigner - 0 to 5 depending on the team
I'm counting the days until Mouz vs oGs... Not so much for Startale vs TSL. That being said, GSTL is the bestest tourney for me. I never miss any match

Ye, lol, I feel the same way. So much to watch these days. Still, I rarely miss a IPL event, because they always have great players and good production value. The live-report threads never really get going though
