Were any of the games good? Surely Kiwikaki put up a fight, right?

yeah Abver is best ZvT in eu.

What? That has nothing to do with what anyone was talking about and it's not true.

But in NASTL Abver did so well against Artist as known as #1 ELO TvZer

ReIGN looking bad,i dont like it.

You're trying to be funny and inflammatory, but you're just looking like an idiot, which is all I really expect from your posts. Winning a Bo1 doesn't mean that you suddenly are the "best in a match-up." However, holding a >85% win rate in a match-up over the course of almost 50 games does speak to how good he is at the match-up. Even if he's playing foreigners, winning that high of a percentage of games is ridiculous Artist TLPD

Take a look at the list of players he took out in the Iron Squid qualifiers last weekend. He also beat Jjakji last year when he won the Korean Weekly. He's very young, and very inconsistent, but when he plays well, he's an extremely entertaining player to watch and clearly has great potential.

He was pretty clearly talking about this specific match. No one is going to try to deny that Life is really good (well nobody who knows anything about SC2). Beating Artist would certainly be beating someone "special."

cmon this Artist dude is mediocre at best. Im not hating but he rather showed it. I fail to see why you hype him so hard everytime

Just look at his record? People hype up Inori because he went 5-3 at IPL. Personally, I find consistency to be a lot more impressive than a one time flash in the pan.

yeah man 90% of the games, he beat slivkowho, tefelwho, ilovesmilewho and lotta [insert random]zerg. He also managed to snatch games from Check. violet zomg. Thats gosuness imo
And talking about consistency, I think no one can beat this guy for his 0-0 record in kr. So infinitely consistent

Artist is good TvZ man,he beat DIMAGA,viOlet,Lucky and SymboL...

don't underestimate him.

Beating those players makes him decent at TvZ. Lucky is barely Code S, now back down to Code A.

Good at TvZ means beating code S zergs like Curious

Great at TvZ means beating DRG or Leenock and other top tier zergs.

Foreigner win rate is a weak argument =/

ah so being good at matchup is only when you win vP vs MC, vT when you win vs MVP, MMA and vs Z when you win vs Nestea and DRG, otherwise you suck, oke got it.

Exactly.

Also, <3

PS. Didn't say one sucks unless he beats those guys, but one needs to prove himself against highly rated opponents consistently before being labeled good compared to other professionals.

The guy has wins over Lucky, NeeL (TSL Symbol), DIMAGA, Nerchio, etc. What more do you want? And he has a >85% win rate after that. THAT'S CONSISTENTLY BEATING HIGH RATED OPPONENTS! He is good at TvZ, people who say otherwise are ignorant.

Everybody's record in the foreign community is littered with random people they've played, but you'd be hard pressed to find a record that good over that many games that isn't considered a top tier player. Also your definition of a good player is stupid, to say the least. I'm not saying that Artist is Code S quality, I'm saying that his TvZ alone could compete at a Code A level.

Man that (the nested quotes that were so long) was so difficult to shorten.

Anyway

Didn't say he's bad at it. But there are only so many levels of goodness (decent -> good -> great -> godly?) when it comes to pros. Obviously godly means being the best TvZer in the world. Great is Code S. Good is Code A. Decent is beating the best foreigners / Code B contender. See, I am not insulting him when I say his TvZ is decent, in fact it means he's probably one of the best in the foreign scene.
