HuK took roughly a month of vacation. Even BW progamers do this. It was the first month he had since beta where he wasn't practicing 8+ hours a day. The games were dumb too, crossfire is a joke and he got allined on belshir. He will be back soon.

The difference is you usually take a vacation in the off-season, not when you have a VERY IMPORTANT match to play

Try to think about it in context of all the foreign tourneys that he had played in being much more important than this code A match. The prestige is important as is the possibility to make it to Code S, but all of the other tournaments had more tangible, important rewards ($$$). After flying back and forth all the time he was due for a break.

Of course at the end of the day, every player has to decide what he's looking for in the first place: money or success as a sportsman. If you want to establish yourself as one of the best SC2 players of the world, go play GSL, Noone outside of the GSL/Code S can name himself truly as one of the best players in the world. If you just want to make the cash, then play tons of foreign tournaments around the globe against inferior opponents and collect the checks.
Well I've made my decision about what I think is more honorable, but everyone has his own views.

Apparently he didn't practice at all when he was in canada and he only has a pc to practice in korea for a week now. So yeah he practiced 1 week for this after like a month long break.

This. If Huk and Idra would have won playing like that I would have been disappointed.

this is seed's first time in Code A, so yeah. he should have been in ages ago though, he's a really good player - he's been impressive in the GSTL, has been high on the ladder (i'm pretty sure I saw that), and he's IM! plus, he's handsome http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Seed

Wow Seed played so well and impressive last game. He defended so amazingly that he lost only 6 probes in the entire game.
HuK and IdrA deserved to be out of GSL. IdrA, keep whining cuz you can't defeat yourself. HuK, you need to play safer and practice more man.

I would say Boxer, July, Leenock, then Seed. What can I say? I have a weakness for BW legends.

Why was game 1 of seed recommended? That was a pretty basic 2 base into win you see from every other toss these days.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

What a downfall for EG. Idra und Huk going down to Code B... I hope they can get back to Code A soon.

Foreigners are just so bad. They all lose like really badly against completly unknown b-teamers. I wouldn't expect see a foreigner reach RO16 CodeS a series this year.
