If MorroW gets to play Terran then I would favor him over Ret. Even though Bel'Shir is good for Zerg, I think that as a fairly small two player map it also favors Terrans who are exceedingly aggressive early game (11/11 Rax is ridiculously strong on that map) and Ret is notoriously bad at defending early game aggression. 3-1 if he plays T

(T)ThorZaIN > (P)HerO
ACE:(P)MaNa > (P)HerO

Mouz 3-2

Ironically, I think that ThorZaIN and MaNa have the best shot at winning their matches despite being up against tougher opposition. Plus, the fact that HerO and Zenio will have to deal with the lag from Korea, I think that ThorZaIN and MaNa have a good chance at winning. Basically Liquid got the best match-ups possible for them, but I still don't know if it will be enough. I will be really interested who Liquid will play for their ace if it gets that far, though.

Huh? There are two ZvZs, between BiGs/Sheth and Ret/MorroW.

Though, since teams send their players without knowing which player the other team is sending, maybe MorroW 'has' to ZvZ too. I didn't read the NASTL rules though, but that's what I'm thinking.

biGs > Sheth

biGs may be able to beat Sheth and I actually think he will. He did beat Snute in the qualifiers for IEM Sao Paulo which is pretty impressive and beat LiveZerg already in this tournament.

MaNa > Zenio

Sure, Zenio beat Naniwa at Kiev. Naniwa also hasn't beat a Zerg in ages. But he also barely beat NightEnd. I think Mana's PvZ is better than both those players. This could be a very close match though.

MorroW < Ret

Doesn't really matter what race Morrow has to play. Pretty sure this is his worst matchup, so Ret should take it fairly easily.

ThorZaIN > HerO

Hero's been slumping at LANs and now he'll have lag to deal with too, while Thorzain is an absolute beast in team leagues.

3-1 Mouz.

It's not like MorroW decides whether or not to play Terran or Zerg versus zerg. He ALWAYS plays Terran vs Zerg, unless the rules are against it. It's one of his "three" matchups.

It's like if they put in a fulltime zerg. The match will have to be ZvZ. But putting MorroW in, he's gonna be TvZ, Terran is his "zerg" in that matchup. It's just what he always does. So I don't think it breaks any special team rules.

I don't think it will break any general rules either, as they did allow him to be terran when he faced off against IdrA in Season 2.

This could definitely go either way. I could see 4-0 for either team but an ace match seems likely.

Hmm, ThorZaIN will probably win vs HerO if he multi-tasks correctly and micros well. However, HerO can maybe catch ThorZaIN off-guard with a proxy 2 gate or 4 gate. I give ThorZaIN the advantage though, 65% - 35%.

EDIT: Also, Ret > MorroW, Ret pretty good at ZvT.
Sheth > biGs, unless biGs can find a chink in the armor of the Manner Bear, then he might win.
MaNa > Zenio, mostly delay, but MaNa really, really intelligent play lately. (save vs Destiny)
