Isnt random Bnet lag mostly out of your control? Completely i would say. Except if you have good relationship to blizzard and they do some efforts to secure the server performance. Ok not EVERYTHING is out of your control surely? (there) I mean you have to have good internet/server set up yourself anyway good bandwidth etcetcetc. And being IEM they should know this and have done 100s of tournaments anyway, so there is obvious issue somehwere, Anyone know if CS:S is lagging or LoL?

Isnt random Bnet lag mostly out of your control? You can't call this "random bnet lag". Then what is it? seems to me,like TLO mentioned, that the computers don't bring the performance to run SC2 smoothly. And to be honest, those "random Bnet lags" happen from time to time, but not this often in a short period. There must be some issue either with the connection or the computers at the venue. I'd guess from what you could see on the stream, that this is a computer issue.

Because Strelok had a chance of winning that battle if it didn't lag. /sarcasm. About as much as scouted proxygate + core in the middle of the map does of winning yeah =p

But I do know that bnet is absolutely fine and has been all day. While you may be correct, the fact that it has been fine all day does not at all rule out a Bnet problem

CS:S... oh no you didn't.... But yes, CS 1.6 does not have any lag issues as far as I can see, maybe earlier in the day though.

I read LoL is running fine, so that's why i thought it gotta be b.net 2.0.
