Ignorant post. The onus is on the game developer not the players to make sure that winning gameplay and entertaining gameplay are not mutually exclusive.

Entertainment can be obtained in quite a lot of different ways, I myself find it entertaining when Naniwa crushes other players

edit: oops, nevermind probably a PBU I'm responding to anyway.

Anyway on another topic, so Zenio didn't want to regame after all? Well I guess after he was dominated so easily by Kas he was keen to keep every game he won after. Tough decision whether to replay the whole bo3 or just the final game eh? ... erm I doubt even Sheth would choose the whole bo3, then again, he probably would ♥

I'm pretty surprised by the rematch. I can't remember the last time a full game was played out and then the rematch was given out after the fact, especially when there was a pause midgame and a chance to ask for something to be done then.

That said I do remember this from an IEM not so long ago:

Why not do the same here? Sure, it'd be a lot of work to set it up with remaining resources, exact army composition, and even unit health, but is there really not 2 free computers for refs to do it while group C is being run? The replay should be around for people to look at it.

Was it even considered to have a regame from right before the major fight and lag spike?

Pretty much all you need to say. Also, seeing someone use a 2 gate build to destroy his opponents higher gate build is a thing of beauty. The precision control and timing is absolutely excellent. Considering PvP has always been somewhat of a monobuild battle I don't understand what aidosae is complaining about.

without "entertaining" us, you wouldnt have a job.

oh hey look

im going to respond to a pro belligerently

in the hopes that he F5's this thread as much as I am and responds to it

thus causing unnecessary drama!

kekeke

oh look, someone bit!

ah

get called out and pretend to be joking/trolling?

smart move! =)

I wouldnt say I am joking or trolling.
I feel that when players play to win that that is entertaining, however when there is nothing to win (refer to nani's GSL match), it is still their responsiblity to show good games. Why is there almost universal love for WhiteRa? Because he plays to win, but also to entertain. He realizes that the fans make the scene what it is, without the fans he would not have a job, without this being a job he would not be able to support himself as well as play a GAME for a living that he loves.
He needs to show a little humility at least in his interactions with fans on TL or other mediums.

YOU think he needs to show humility, his fans aren't complaining.

Neither are Idra fans.

Why are you bringing up his GSL match when he's already apologized for it and admitted it was wrong?

smh.

Apologizing for something does not erase the fact that it happened.

And YOU arent complaing, are you all his fans? -- Just taking the opposite side of what you just said... still committing the same logical fallacy that you did.

The fact that this whole arguement is based on him posting that he prioritizes winning in a competition is hilarious.

Just stop watching his matches and stream if it bothers you that much, you don't actually pay him any money directly, so stop giving him attention, when you sit here and argue about him you just end up giving him more attention.

edit: to the guy above me - yeah man hes not gonna make money..lol..trust me theres a lot of fans that are entertained by...you know...winning

Naniwa showing whos boss again. Too bad blizzard are to caught up in counting their money to implement LAN into the game. Maybe this tournament would have been decent then.
