Almost given up on even bothering.
Thanks for listening.
I had lag 0,1% of the time I was watching and I watched everything. It's you, bro.

Maybe you should petition your government to change that or something? Such a comment from an US guy? LOL

I'm not talking about his natural ... you can be all in at 200/200 supply or from 3 bases too.
You're all in whenever you're put into a position to do significant damage, and don't have much to fall back on. DongRaeGu was far ahead with his tech and upgrdes. sC had to kill him with that marauder/hellions push ... he didn't and we saw what happened.
But you probably think all in and cheese are the same thing.

Sucks for you, its perfect for everyone else. Bye! Guess it depends on what part of the world you are. I live in Japan and it's always working perfectly, but (EDIT: I guess) it's not the case everywhere.

I hope the liquipedia is right, and if it is, its awesome! It looks like the winners of each group of Ro32 is spread out, aka the favourites Nestea, MVP, MMA and MC are all in different groups. Hopefully this means that they cant pick each other for Ro16 groups
Actually, MVP and MC weren't winners in their groups. However, the group selection is based on 2011 GSL points and those were the top for so they get first picks.

Dude, everything's an all-in before the 15 minute mark. That's how it goes
No, just no. Indeed in TL all attacks before 15 mins are considered all-ins, but in this case it kinda was.
I mean, DRG took the game from that defense. He defended 2-3 drops and just took the game. sC's plan had failed and DRG killed him a few minutes later. That IS and all-in.
No upgrades, few tanks, low on medivacs. Yes, he got a 3rd behind that but you saw that the last engagement was terribly one sided even after the aweful (on DRG's side) engagement a couple of minutes ago.
sC had no way to stop DRG expanding or teching, while he was behind on tech as well. This is why you don't see the reactor factory + marauder more often as an oppening (as well as the 2fac reac hellion). If it fails you are so behind on tech that a zerg can crush you a few minutes later with 3/3 + ultras.
Obviously, had DRG gone muta ling bling, the game would be on even ground, with DRG slightly behind. But DRG picked the correct build to "make" sC's attack an all-in.

first time ive watched GSL in a while, and i gotta say i think the suits look stupid the suits themselves are fine, but in that environment when everyone is walking round in casual clothes and what not, it just looks out of place imo :/
DRG so good

If nobody else is complaining then it's not GOM's fault. : / Cool play from DRG. Great work from all of MvP. A lot of viewers have Problem with Gomplayer. Every GSL thread has a hint how to avoid the lags Gomplayer produces, becouse it is so commen. Most people having problems started using vlc though.

It was really all in though... no upgrades, no units that are going to be good against mid game zerg units... I wouldn't say it was an all-in, but it definitely was an attack that needed to do more damage than it did in the game to justify itself. Thing is, DRG seemed to be prepared against that Hellion/Marauder push anyway.
Well true and everyone can and will squabble all day about what you define things as but personally I say when you build up for an attack which must kill a base / workers / some tech doesn't leave you many options when it gets crushed like that.
Yes you can play add on switcheroo to get tanks with siege, reactored marines and medivacs out but no upgrades or combat shields that late against impending mutas / infestors is bad news.
I mean, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if he could have got on to the economy at DRG's expo but he killed... some queens, lings, banes, spines and maybe... two drones? with the attack

I'm sure GOMTV will shape up and build better connections in Perth Australia because of your comment. Seriously, WTF dude. I'm in Sweden and it's working fine, how could it possibly be an issue with Gom.
I'm in Melbourne, Australia and the GOM stream is fucking terrible so far this year. I used to watch the HD streams with no problems last year but now I can't even watch the SQ stream because it stutters and dies non-stop.

We're like 28th in the world, which is pretty bad for a 1st world country (though I have an 18mb connection, which is fine for me), but Australia is like 48th? or something like that. So yeah... they have shitty internet.

Every time this happens it is always an Australian (actually a couple of times it was Canadians too if my LR thread memory is correct). It's an ISP issue so it's between them and GOM, and i bet my wisdom teeth that it's not GOM's fault.

Doesn't mean he's bad, but at the very least today he's not in form at all. im neutral towards jyp i just find it disrespectful whenever i hear casters lowering a players skill level, especially because if u were to ask anyone before these games(including tastosis) if jyp or genius was the better player 90% would have said jyp, ur opinions on players change on a day to day basis seriously.... you see that in every sport... casters/commentators talking about the level of play of certain players, criticizing them, hyping them, all that stuff. It is completely normal and GOOD for esports. How boring would it be if no player were to ever get hyped or criticized? If you want SC2 to be accepted as a sport, we as a community have to treat it like one. Players have to learn to deal with criticism, if you can't handle it then eSports is not the right place for you. but profesionnal sports commentators have years and years of experience and know what theyre talking about, i do agree that the casters are sorta forced into talking about these type of stuff or else the cast would be extremely boring if they didnt So is your issue that they're not good enough to be criticising players, or that they just chane their mind about a players skill too much? it has nothing to do with skill, u can be knowledgeable at the game without being a good player but its when ppl start making senseless statements that rubs me the wrong way, the game's still way too young and unprofessional to do anything about it tho casters get all pissy whenever they see posters senselessly bashing them for no reason, why shouldnt players get pissy whenever casters start downplaying their skill level? especially when its not rightfully deserved, whos tastosis to say that jyp isnt at the same level as genius/sc/drg?
Agreed. Nerves, and small, fatal holes in their play can make some really talented players look like they're worse than they are, and casters should be more thoughtful of that. Like when Huk was starting in korea, and kept doing stupid attacks. He just has a style that requires a LOT of games with failed attacks before he can figure out how the right way to execute a certain attack, and fine tuning his build to hit in the EXACT window he wants. MC (the "suicide toss") is another great example of that, too.
And of course, there's nerves issues too. Now you could argue that beating nerves is also part of how good a player is, but if that's the case it needs to be specifically brought up as the reason why a player looks sloppy. Casters, especially former players, should be very familiar with how a person can start to come apart mentally, and it's definitely something you can discuss to give a little more context to the mistake you're seeing in someone's play.

PPl from around the world who are NOT from Perth Australia use the logic cos it is fine for them in their country it must be fine for me in Perth Australia ?
Um go learn how the internet works and then come back.
But yeah, I been fixing computers for 20 years so I know it is not my computer or connection, it is obviously the server to my location. ie. Sometimes it is fine, other times it is unwatchable.
Hopefully GOMTV see this and can do something.

Woohoo I really didn't see DRG make it out of that last game. ^_^ Maybe this is the Season where he finally rocks Code S. Sad for JYP, but kind of expected it. I guess he is just not quite there yet. Training in the SlayerS house might fix that soon. :3
