This is pretty simple actually. MMA went fast third and double EB, and for some reason pushed at the same time. You can't be agressive with a passive macro strategy, especially when you don't scout what your opponent is doing. Roaches being supply-inefficient, you simply need to turtle and max as Terran, because you will easily win 200 vs 200 battles—even 160 vs 200 would be fine. But you have to preserve your Tank count to reach a “critical mass,” and MMA couldn't do that because of his lost push (which he should never have done anyway...).

sc2 crowd is easily entertained. I found these games really boring, Tal'Darim was an okay game tho. Maybe you shouldn't watch BW before sc2 games. ;;

There have definately been a LOT of games better than those. But we are talking about GSL/GOM finals here, who have always been 1 player dominating the other. This (and Leenock vs Jjakji) is so much of an improvement that people hype for it. Not for the quality of the games, just for the outcome.
We have quite a long way to go to have BW standard finals. Let us be thankful for what we have earned thus far, though
