The game was more of Alicia's mistake than Bigs' playing well. Bigs' macro seemed really really off, 14 mins in and he was only 130 supply. He kept alternating between drones and units too, which really slows down Zerg's economy. Someone like Ret or Idra would've been maxed at that point and would've just rolled in without the flank. | ||

I don't really want to make excuses for Thorzain, but if you saw the game. Whether it was lag, a brainfart, or some other reason. Thorzain's engagement at Alicia's expo he didn't even micro his units. He did a couple emps, attacked and sat there while his army died. That set the precedent to let Alicia counter and demolish him. If Thorzain was at least controlling his units there, he could have mitigated the damage or taken out more units. He didn't fly his medivacs away after the ground army got killed either. | ||

rich vespene in general is a nice idea, a lot better than gold expansions since every race gets the same benefit due to mining gas at the same rate, and it only really matters in the early game where spending your gas can create interesting timings. | ||
