Guys like JP asking us to "give a cheer" and whoever this current dude is just make me sad. Learn to create the noise yourself by exuding charisma and energy. Begging for applause is weak and pathetic. It's not so bad if some people didn't say "make some noise" every minute.

I recommend you get your rear over the San Fran, hell I put on a bit heavier accent than I really have when I go out. Works a treat. ![]() (Ok so being tall blonde and blue eyed doesn't hurt the image either but still, it's strangely exotic to them)

Even than there is a phase 2 following after that and if you don't have the bulk of your army alive, you are so fucked. That's why I have never considered the 1-1-1 to be a allin. It's kinda like a 7 gate in pvZ that servers as a reset button when you kill of the zergs third and than have the choice to commit or back out. This leaves you in a pretty good position as 2 base toss against a 2 base zerg.Same as with terrans feel really comfortable playing against protoss on even number of bases because their income will always be higher and they will have the more cost efficient units, and if toss decides to go this 1 base colo play they just stop tank production after 3 and mass up banshees than proceed to own everything because the protoss has no gass units on the ground that can shoot air because of the gas invested in colos from 1 base. I really do not understand why terrans stopped doing 1-1-1s so much, its almost as if it fell out of style for no reason as I have never really seen a effective counter to it. The best way to deal with it imo and they way I have seen that the build was stopped more or less cost effective is to get a fast expo and than rush for observers while trying to get as many gates up as you can and than try to intercept the terran army while their tanks are unsieged or sandwich it with a proxy pylon out on the map, kinda like a zerg does with lings.I don't know, its really a very very interesting situation in the meta game that this build creates. They stopped it, because a good Protoss or evenly matched Protoss can absolutely murder it if you make 1 single mistake with the build. PuMa does execute it insanely well and there's no doubt about it. I've seen other really good pros play it (ThorZaIN for example) and HasuObs absolutely MURDERED the 1-1-1. I absolutely agree its a strong build, but calling it easy to play and a freewin is an overstatement and as untrue as it gets. Protoss can very well beat it and come out ahead.

It's not remotely complicated for anyone that has followed a SC2 tournament, but after hearing Tastosis or DoaWolfMole try to explain the GSL format, it's refreshing that he can fall back and explain the significance of everything so fluidly. Other than their introduction of this, this is running fairly smoothly; I'm actually enjoying this so far. Hopefully we see some good SF
