That wasn't as good as I thought it would be. aLive really disappointing in the 2nd and 3rd games.
2 Terrans, 1 Zerg and 1 Protoss in the semi-finals! All 3 non-mirrors still possible in the finals.

While I'm glad to see the leenocktopus rampage forward Alive's play made me sad tonight, I've seen him do better. I wanted epic games like yesterday.

Game 1 was not that simple, aLive actually equalized and was ahead for a bit; burrowed banes + muta harass just kept him stuck on 3 bases and then broods finished him. Games 2 & 3 were preety unimpressive by aLive though.

The worse part of it is that I think he built the depot there to cover his marines (saw Select do it in NASL just now + why else would he have built it) but he didn't even put a space for his marines to go behind. Zzz. I think that might go down as the worst series in GSL history.

Alive played pretty awful. I mean, he played amazing in game one, but he was so far behind after his cheese failed, that it was no use. Then he was playing even in game two, looked good, and then let lings somehow get into his base, kill twelve workers and put him behind again. Finally, in the last game, he said fuck it and went BitByBit.
He plays very well on the ladder and can look good on occasions, but he has major issues when it comes to playing when it counts, sadly. He's a great player that might never get to a semifinal due to his nerve issues. If you looked at him in the booth, he was biting his nails the entire time and looked shaken from the get go.
