The thing is, as much as I don't like the 2 base all ins, its understandable because Toss unfortunately has the worst economic potential out of the three races

It isn't really safe since a protoss can do alot of things to kill you, but sure if the P players isn't sneaky and you have good scouting it isn't as greedy as you could think.
