But I just have to ask "Is this already the greatest SC2 tourney we have seen to date? I certainly think so. Starting off with the Global Invi's and then these crazy early champ bracket games... Tomorrow is going to be insane............ :DDDD
Peace lol hype asides, the series so far is pretty bad, ro32 Code A by GSL standard You can't expect similar quality gameplay in a 3 day tournament compared to a tournament where players get to prepare for days or even weeks. This MLG being at code A standards is a huge succes already. Still not like the greatest tourney ever quality-wise right ? and even previous MLGs had more stories That said, Im not trying to deny the awesomeness of Providence, just replying to some guys who think this is the best thing happened to esport just cuz NaNi managed to play some good games

Wow Major knocked out by Keen. *

Providence' crowd is really not up to par with other MLGs. Probably tired or something. But a fight of this magnitude should produce roars every move the player makes.

I would say plenty of people didn't like him after listening to him QQ for months straight.

If Naniwa didn't know the maps, whose mistake is it? Why he stops the flow of the game? This is seriously wrong. With respect to the opponent and fans and audience. Read the rules and the maps man.
MLG should sort this out.

macro game in the last game please Wait wait wait.....Naniwa does a 7 gate timing and its all good. Nestea does this and you complain and want a macro game? Hmmmmm........ he 7 gated after a roach all in............. heh. Wasn't even close to an all-in he made 6 roaches and 8 lings and then was constantly producing drones. It wasn't straight up all-in but it was very aggressive and meant NesTea would be vulnerable to something like an aggressive warpgate push if he didn't do enough damage, because he has to make Drones later so his econ will be behind and he'll have less units than normal when the push comes. No he was vulnerable to the all-in because he went mutas and even then he would have held it on most maps with those spines. Xelnaga's natural is just way too wide to defend with static defense. It didn't matter if he went Mutas or not, he couldn't have held a third no matter what tech choice he went for. Lol if he had 10 mutas worth of roaches + the roach/ling he already had + the spines he couldn't have held? He would have easily held. You're assuming Naniwa doesn't know how to micro.

I get a FFE into 6 gate against an early roach push into lose my entire base
And then a early pool to counter nexus first into double stargate and mass ling/hydra ..
I am pretty underwhelmed
With nestea being the catalyst for cheese starting, nani trying to play standard macro against nestea. But to no avail.

He also called Nestea's play in game 3 last night on TDA idiodic Some people over exaggerated it and said that he thought Nestea was idiotic overall, which he didn't say. yea i know. it was just the pulling drones thing he did was called idiodic. Well technically he did say he thought nestea was a genius but he was an idiot, so he did call nestea an idiot though obviously due to pulling the drones.
