I get this while trying to open the HQ stream, anyone got any tips?

Just kill the gomplayer.exe and gomstreamer.exe processes, then try again.

Did not work

Is your GOMplayer version 2.1.33.5071 ?

Why do people keep saying that MVP was better than Frogg at the end of their careers? He was not, not matter what measurement you go by. =/

MVP's brood war career ended when SC2 started, even though he was still active...sooooo, that's probably what you're reading. At the time that MVP moved over, from what I've read (note: I dont follow BW) he was getting more success at that point than ForGG at that point.

Actually, at the very end of MVPs career he went back to being just as terrible as he was for 95% of it. He basically had one small patch a couple of months before he played his last games where he went like 6-1 including an epic win vs Flash, but that's it. That's all he ever accomplished. Then he got 3-0'd by Flash and never did anything useful ever again.

If you TLPD their last years, you get a 51% winrate for Frogg and a 38% winrate for MVP. With more than twice as many games played by Frogg.

I think you are confusing JYP with Sage. JYP is 14-7 in PvP. Sage is like 30% win rate

Have you seen Sage vs Oz, recently? It was not exactly a poor showing.

Anyone having a problem with watching 2 streams, whenever I try to open another stream it just freezes up and won't play. Also don't know who to root for in this match, I really like JYP but SaSe is great too and a foreigner :/

He was a woongjin terran enough said really

I don't know BW, elaborate for me =P

Woongjin is a BW team known for having no good Terrans. Yes this includes MVP as he had a pretty bad winrate overall in BW. There were no consistently decent Terran players on Woongjin.

All: 30-46 (39.47%)
vP: 10-13 (43.48%)
vT: 17-27 (38.64%)
vZ: 3-6 (33.33%)
MVP's stats from BW to put it in perspective

That's kinda unfair, as he was only just starting to really become a competitive Terran.

except that mvp's winrate in the period before he switched to SC2 was actually QUITE GOOD. sure he wasn't good in 2008 but who cares about then, ancient stats be ancient.

The hyperbole after that game is ridiculous. We've seen a million other terrans stutter step with marauders and not get hit by storms. Seems like people just convinced themselves that Forgg played like a god. Hell, his play looked exactly like Select usually does against protoss. I'm sure He's very very good, but those games didn't show anything special AT ALL.

In fairness, sure SeleCT micros like that in TvP all the time...but typically his macro suffers a bit for it. You won't catch any hyperbole out of me, but that was some pretty stellar multitasking from forGG, handling multi-pronged attack on the Code S level for sure in Game 2.

Unfielded in PL, lost in the next MSL 1-2. Yup. Quite good indeed.
