Monday will be 2 broadcasts, 1 on tues/wed. Thurs/Fri will be the RO16. Anyways, loving the group play idea. Much better system. EDIT: Should add, what this does is make sure two stars don't hit each other in the first round and knock one out. Should be easier to retain Code A if you deserve it. And should be easier to progress if you deserve it. Will take some of the randomness out. Really smart decision. If this is indeed the format (most likely) it will be interesting to see how many drop out of Code A. I'd certainly prefer 3rd place retain his spot and 4/5 fall to code B. Assuming this format, all players who don't make the ro16 will probably drop out. Currently 16 players drop out and since there's 8 more new slots, that makes 24 slots for this season. I see them continuing this trend and having 24 code A slots per season by having 3 players from each of the 8 groups drop out of code A. Also they don't need to do tiebreakers to find out who came 3rd.

Can't wait for the 12 hour Code A + Code S group selections tomorrow with 70 players all in the GOM Studio.

I think the selections for Code A will be separate... that's because the qualifiers will probably extend past the Code S selection start time

Please do. You can TLPD-ize your posts as well, generally, even with just the player's real name OR their ID. The more detailed the information, the better. It also helps make accurate brackets on Liquipedia. If you don't know how to utilize TLPD in posts, simply highlight the player's name or ID and click the icon that looks like a hydralisk. This will attempt to create an automatic link to the player's profile along with the race the play. It may link the wrong player if they have the same name as someone else or it may link their BW profile if they played BW. If you already knew this, I apologize. But it will make the information easier to read for everyone.

I'm glad to see so many Protoss qualifying. 3 now and Squirtle through the Korean Weekly. In terms of Terran, I'm rooting for Boxer, Byun, Jinro and ForGG to make it.

On stream and also they've opened a GSL Nov page with the announcement of announcement (they'll detail the new format tomorrow during the Code S selections).

I was actually looking up individual korean names every time and changed the ID manually.
