Lol poor Inca, originally paired against MKP but the bracket switch now has him against Sen, he went from a bad situation to a worse one. A lot of people are still on the same side of the bracket as people they were in groups with, I thought they were trying to fix that?

Exactly. They were providing the stream and some financial support, and the tournament organizers shit the bed and borderline threw IGN under the bus (see: YYJ facebook chat logs with Gus). Don't be mad at IPL for backing out when they were only in a position to lose from the beginning.

So they providing financial support to a bunch of retards? No... It doesn't work like that. They don't just throw money around for no reason. They must've sent people or done something more than throw money there way. And even if all they did was do that then they have to put some effort in to get their money back. I guess it's easy to manipulate an audience full of 14-16 year olds. E-Sports FTW!

Read IPL's note to the community before you flame them.

Uhhh.. Yeah, they said it's not worthy of being part of our channel. Instead of fixing the problem they just ran away from it. Smooth move business wise, dick move community wise.

They can't fix the problem because the problem is in Phillipines. And they have to disassociate themselves from it because it has already done reputational harm to them. It's common business sense. If they could have fixed it they would have, rather than risk further reputational harm. They can't.

They made the mistake in the first place of not conducting due diligence and just blindly giving their brand name to this tournament. If you wanna flame them. Flame them for this. Don't flame them for running away from an issue out of their hands.

Also, CSN are only providing the stream because both Torch and Rachel are in Phillipines and they (and TheGunRun) pretty much the tech support for this tournament, given that the organizers aren't exactly doing a good job at it.

Did you even read or comprehend anything IPL has said on the situation?

"Our involvement in the event was limited to providing money to support the event as well as providing a streaming channel. We also wanted to support the event by taking its winner to IPL 4. We spent time reviewing what they were planning, as well providing them with production assets and we felt fairly secure that they could run a decent event with what they had promised us. However, we should have been more involved with anything that had to do with the IPL name."

To clarify ziek does not represent SEA, he's just a mediocre player who flew himself there to lose.
