Really pathetic that this is the best that the CREATORS of the damn game that we spend our time watching can do.
Yea yea, Chinese/SEA people doesn't get much exposure. Rah rah.... why the fuck are we not seeing the two best players in the world play? Especially when they're on foreign soil together for the FIRST TIME.
KeSPA might have had the right idea to fight them..... Hey asshole, we get it... You wanted more MVP and Nestea.. That's what all day tomorrow is pretty much. Plus! you get them playing each other (probably in two box matches too). So please, STFU about not seeing them today. Of course they wanted to try and show everyone from all the nations because guess what, this is a WORLD tournament! Where they are putting a lot of their money in having qualies all around the world. People from all across the world are watching and are wanting to see their fans from their own servers play. Give it a break already. I understand the long commerical/ trivia questions between games. That can be annoying but its for the people at Blizzcon to go walk around and see the venue before coming back and watching the next game because oddly enough this is not STARCRAFTCON, its Blizzcon. Showing Diablo, starcraft, WoW, panels, Q&A places and other booths from sponsors. If you have this big of a problem, then leave. Esports doesn't need you! :D /rant sorry for grammar problems I just wanted to rage. EDIT: If you at least bought HD pass then you would have plenty to watch between games. BUT if you are just watching the stream for free and still complaining.. then fuck off He probably didnt choose the better words to give his feedback about the tournament but that doesnt mean you should be that rude. Maybe you should consider posting on B.net forums, they love engage on mindless subjects and bash on each other.
Like I already said, it was an annoyed rage post and I said sorry for swearing at the user. I should know better than do be that rude if I am to hold you guys to a higher regard, I must do the same. Again, sorry!!!!!!! But, if you are getting an extra event along side an amazing viewing experience without starcraft, the tournament they are providing is a cherry on top. As I've noticed people are telling me the Chinese players got invited. Touche, but I still stand by that Blizzard is right by wanting to show case everyone who entered the tournament before they get eliminated.
Again, sorry.

FOUR, and for whatever reason they decided to skip out the matches that would be entertaining and cast random Chinese players. Random Chinese players? You mean the players that worked hard to win their qualification to get here then traveled all those hours? You mean all the Chinese people who are tuned in just wanting to see their own people compete? Get off your high horse sir. You will be spoiled enough tomorrow with Nestea. Did you at least buy an HD, go watch all the panels and Q&A's With all due respect these Chinese players did not win their qualification, they were invited purely because they could get a visa. Both of them are mid-tier at best.
with all due respect, they were at least the top 32 grandmasters at the point of acceptance. Thus, they are more than qualified to enter such a tournament.

Lastly, I'm going out for the night and won't be able to respond to anymore posts. Please TL, just try to enjoy what Blizzard is trying to give us, for free non the less. Plus, they're giving us the GSL finals for free. SMILE! :D

It's OK, everybody can flip out. Here have a heart ♥
However, I strongly disagree with your points: 1) it's true that there is a big event other than the SC2 tournament, but some of us just don't care about Blizzard's other games. The stream AND casters are left pointlessly idle for more than 30 minutes between matches, when they could, at least, be casting some replays. More importantly, if I had been willing to pay the absurd amount of 40 USD just to watch the SC2 panels I would have been shafted, since they were mostly overlapping with the games.
2) OK, they wanted to showcase some new unknown player. I'm actually perfectly fine with that, I love seeing new players. However, mirror matches are terrible for presenting unknown people, because you learn very little about their skill.

okookokokokokokoko <3 I am just leaving so I can respond quickly.
1) From the sounds of it, Day9 JP and stuff have been touring the event during the down time because after all, they probably wish to see everything too! I can't agree with the argument of "well I only like SC 2 so I only want SC2 all the time" because Blizzcon is simply much bigger than that.
2) It sucks that there were so many Z's here because the Lower Bracket turned into a ZvZ slug fest. But... how else were they going to show the players play. They had to do this because they were being eliminated and it was their last chance..
AGAIN, love you guys, love TL, love all the users.. lates

I wasn't trolling. I was just saying that being top 32 grandmaster is a fucking idiotic way of measuring skill, which was something you tried to legitimize. Or atleast that was how I enterpreted it. How my ladder ambitions came in to discussion is beyond me, but perhaps you can enlighten me? We still are in fact talking about progamers are blizcon, are we not? Thank you for your mature, although somewhat confusing answer.
As a side note my argument ofcourse falls flat if you indeed consider combatex and deezer world class. If this indeed is your opinion, then please don't answer this post, as I have nothing more to say to you.
