I hope SangHo improved his PvT... i remember the last time he played that foreign tournament he always did stuff like Nexus first to stop 111 and lost.

His PvT is his best match up imo, but yeah he sure loves to Nexus first

I find it interesting how ESL hosted 3 IEMs in 2 months, and after this one they'll have a break of 3 months before having the next IEM Kiev.

Well, he did beat Polt two times in the GSL.

Handsdown 2 gate expand:
As PvP develops into more macro games, many people have begun experimenting with expansion builds. However, a large number of people have also shrugged off
This is the "safest" expansion build that
Maps: One caveat of this build is that it isn't viable on all maps, only most maps. First, your map's natural has to have a choke, preferably a ramp. This allows you to easily defend from frontal attacks and more easily deny scouting of your expansion for as long as possible. The second condition is that the map has to be fairly large so that colossi all-ins are much weaker. Fortunately, almost every map in the modern map pool satisfies these conditions: + Show Spoiler +Daybreak Shakruas Plateau Cross positions Antiga Shipyards Entombed Valley Korhal Compound Cloud kingdom Metropolis Ohana Atlantis Spaceship
Problem builds: Warp prism 4 gate: You have to catch the warp prism before it starts warping in units
Phoenix all-in: A dedicated phoenix all-in will kill you
Robo blink:
1 Colossi all-in: The can be hard depending on the map. For example, on daybreak with a very long rush distance and an easily defendable ramp vs colossi, this defense will be very easy. Other maps like antiga and entombed can be harder. Cut probes around 32-34, get up to 4 gates and a robo. Form a concave at your choke where your opponent will attack.
Sentries are still useful against this push, as you'll force the colossi to get into immortal range to stomp on forcefields as well as lower its dps by making it move around.
Not the exact build, but it's a demonstration of how an expansion build of similar timing can defend a 1 base colossi all-in. http://www.gomtv.net/2012gsls2/vod/67124/?set=12&lang=
Blink all-in: The fastest, most powerful blink all-ins warp in units at 6:50 and they hit you with 9-10 stalkers. By contrast, your first immortal pops out of your robo at 7:50. Without this immortal, you cannot combat his stalkers, so you have a 60 second window where you are at the mercy of his blink stalkers. The first way to do this is to aggressively deny any proxy pylons
Huk vs Parting on Entombed Valley Game 3 @ MLG Spring Arena 1 Huk plays too greedy off of his 2 gate expand and assumes his opponent has counter exapanded. Huk takes 4 gas, gets a robo bay, and 3 extra very late gates. He gets rolled over by Parting's 1 base colossi all-in.
http://www.gomtv.net/2012gsls2/vod/67124 Oz vs Squirtle on Antiga Shipyards Game 2 @ GSL 2012 #2 Oz introduces a slight innovation to his build, getting a faster robo instead of faster 3rd+4th sentries. This puts him weaker to pressures, which he knows isn't coming because he already killed some units and stronger versus blink and dt builds. However, he makes the key mistake of not denying proxy pylons and loses to a blink attack. He also misreads the situation and opens observer before immortal.

He's upgrading ranged attack for Infested Terrans, Mr. Bitter..

he did a +2 infested terran/zergling timing attack in GSL once, and then switched right back immediately to roach/infestor

Zealots are pretty good against IT. I guess DRG didn't get that memo.
