For that reason they have faster larva spawn rate than protoss and terran can build workers, but if you now take into consideration that zerg also needs to build overlords and then the eventual 2-3 sets of zerglings in order to scout, they will be behind in worker count. Any more larva they spend on something other than a drone, they fall further behind in economy. Just open the worker count tab before 20 supply and compare zerg to the other races. It is only by 36-40 supply that zergs start to catch up to protoss and terrans in worker count (or rather, mineral income). And thats only if they open hatch first and constantly build drones. | ||
