Yeah, you're right!
Except you're not. There was the whole fiber optic cable breakage problem yesterday, only one or two games out of that pool were played.

Of course??! HP bars off is stupid, you can't see who's winning or losing No. They should do it like GSL is doing it. Turn them off and manually select units when it's really necessary. Otherwise it's just distracting. Hell no, health bars is needed to see how well the players are playing ... if they target the weakest units, control the weakest units back, or not. The manually selected thing just doesn't give the same information. NEEDED? You realize this game called BW has been doing fine in Korea for over a decade and it didn't have healthbars. It is called being a competent observer. As a spectator you shouldn't want to be omniscient about every single event that is about to happen--that just takes away from the spectating experience. ... for you maybe. I've never felt that less information ADDED to the viewing experience. That's just like saying you love to be ignorant... Less information can add to the viewing experience. Imagine Blizzard added a tool that gave the statistical win% of one build against another. How would that at all be interesting for the viewer? Another example: TvZ timing attack before mutalisks pop. In BW you would have to watch the eggs, counting the seconds that mutalisks come out and not knowing exactly the second the pop therefore you wouldn't know exactly (unless you of course are an experienced player and know the timing) who will win the battle. In SC2 this feeling is completely mitigated by observers who rely so heavily on tools like the unit building counter. ... I think you should go back and watch brood:war. It's obviously what you love. I think Brood:War is the superior RTS, but the added things observer can show in Starcraft 2 adds a lot to the viewing experience. It's far, far better. And I would love to see the % chance of build vs build ... it's like seeing the % chance in poker. It adds to the viewing experience, and knowing something the players doesn't adds to the experience. It's like 'but he doesn't know that, he is ahead at the moment' ... Everything you write just seems to be 'I prefer not knowing' - to me, knowing is better. You shouldn't have to play the game at a high level to know that roaches are good vs hellion openings ...

Idra forfeitted citing fatigue which put him at bottom of his group (which turned out to be a good spot)

Yes he did I'm only hating about the fact that he did it not the player, he is playing very well, I just can't stand people making excuses before a game in case they lose, stop with the constant paranoia Thats not crying in my eyes. He just _stated_ that he is tired. Once again, he said in an interview yesterday that Thorzain is going to be REALLY tough opponent and it is going to be hard to win a player like Thorzain. But i guess we are different, huh?
