Another example: TvZ timing attack before mutalisks pop. In BW you would have to watch the eggs, counting the seconds that mutalisks come out and not knowing exactly the second the pop therefore you wouldn't know exactly (unless you of course are an experienced player and know the timing) who will win the battle. In SC2 this feeling is completely mitigated by observers who rely so heavily on tools like the unit building counter.
