There's 8 Terrans, 4 Zergs and 4 Protosses in pool play. Let's cast a TvT over a PvZ, because nobody ever sees TvT, ever.

Bad decision IPL. We all know TvT is the most costly matchup (Timewise), so why cast that, instead of more matches of something else, less often seen!
Zerg lategame is imbalanced as shit. Also: "Protoss is really strong recently. Perhaps, it's time for there to be some changes for Terran." -MMA. Even MMA asks for buffs. Srsly Blizzard. Srsly.

HAHAHA!!! Good stuff. Fuck IPL reacts well to all these delays and whatnot.

Edit:

Lol wut? They're casting a PvZ now and then will continue as planned to cast a TvZ (thorzain vs sleep)
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

SeleCT is on the same level as ThorZaIN (better micro, worse macro), but I think it's been months since SeleCT practiced on the NA server. It's a stretch to call him an NA player. QXC got much better with his stay in KR, and even his time in EU. More of an NA player but still a stretch. MajOr is good, but super predictable and now he's in KR, so he's not really an NA terran either.

Regarding zergs, saying IdrA is as good as EU zergs is hilarious, I count at least five better zergs than IdrA (Stephano, Nerchio, Ret, MorroW and DIMAGA in that order) from Europe, and one (Sheth) from NA.

Now i don't know if that was honest, but i totally agree with you. Except maybe that IdrA is probably better than Ret, MorroW and Sheth.

Idra rolls over Dimaga too.

Yes, IdrA is better than Dimaga and Morrow but Nerchio/Stephano are a class above every foreigner zerg.

Funny since neither of those performed in LANs yet.

Not a fanboy of anyone here, but neither of those guys have had many opportunities in LAN since so many tournaments are based on invites.

I disagree about the Zergs. I cannot say IdrA is WORSE or better than them, but I think it really depends on his daily play. Sometimes he's outstanding, sometimes insanely 'weak' or disappointing. Same for DIMAGA for example.

That's a fair point, DIMAGA is extremely inconsistent and terrible against certain styles. But I'd say that the first three (Stephano, Nerchio, Ret) are better than IdrA all the time, and that MorroW, Sheth, and DIMAGA usually are.

Tabing in to agree with TreeHugger, except MorroW. But then again, I havent seen his play in a long time.. But specialy Nerchio and Stephano is really starting to shine, for sure.

Reading other comments I just don't understand why people think dimaga is worse than the other zergs. TBH his other race match-ups may not be as strong as nerchio or stephano, and dimaga is weak vs T. BUT I am pretty sure dimaga is the best zvz foreigner zerg, he is definately better than stephano and he seems to be able to be nerchio more than he loses to him, as for idra idk tbh, but I feel dimaga is at least as good based on my bias and not being impressed by idra's decent zvz.

So many great matches in open bracket...

Puma vs Socke
DeMuslim vs Sheth
Artist vs Kawaiirice
Violet vs Lucky

And winners going to main tournament, losers to loser bracket of open tournament, so there is lot on the line. Hoping for Bally's stream to kick in asap .

i think youre getting the tournament format wrong. all of the people in the finals of the open bracket are through to the main tournament. top 16 go through, so as long as you get eliminated in the losers bracket with less than 16 players left, your through to the main tournamnet

I got it wrong then, so glad those players are qualified. What a relief :D.
Thx for correction/explenation.
