The gamble paid off and he was able to use the extra gas to make enough banelings to run through a fungal or two. No discredit to him, but it wasn't some godly turn of the hand. He was behind and against a player like IdrA, you don't get the lead back by playing orthodox. He took the right risk and it paid off. It's what you're supposed to do. The funny thing is the gamble didn't even put him even/ahead. Idra still had a solid advantage and he threw it away by being stupid =(

Idra still had a solid advantage and he threw it away by being stupid =( It gave him the advantage he needed because IdrA didn't scout it. It gave him long enough to get the extra gas he needed to defend. IdrA assumed it was 3base v 3base and he had the tech advantage, just assuming he'd be able to roll. Instead, LZ could afford the extra banelings that IdrA didn't have enough fungals and units to just throw at them. IdrA's advantage was gone before he attacked.
