I give Ganzi an edge vs Leenock. Leenock could suprise me because he is quite good at the matchup though.

I'm not surprised. A similar thing happened in GSL July, where Killer and Polt were in the same group. They went 1-1 in terms of score, but Polt ended up advancing due to the format.

Bomber is pretty confident in his TvMVP though. 5-1 in their last 6 games and 5-3 overall. They actually play in the MLG Global Invitational tomorrow, and I have a feeling whoever wins that one will lose the Code S match.

Lol that is a bit of an upset im calling but Bomber is TO confident, thats his biggest problem lol. I just have a hutch that the right bomber will show up here because of the quality of his opponent.

Agree with everything else though, I'm also really excpecting Bomber to bring it to Mvp. Mvp is the best player going around, and that has brought out the best in Bomber in the past, and hopefully it does again and we have an amazing three games. Wish it was a bo5 or bo7 though!

Happy is probably better. Constantly trains with Mvp, and gives NesTea the fright of his life last season in ro32. Losira hasn't been doing as well either since his matches vs Trickster.

The thing is, Bomber BMs everyone. He always has (at least in every game I've seen of him), and loses due to focusing too much on BMing while he has an advantage. That's the only reason he hasn't been winning much lately, even losing to Keen.

I agree with most of this besides MVP/Bomber being bomber favored and Ganzi/Leenock being Ganzi favored.
I'd say Clide over Ryung too but we all know Clide is cursed forever

On the Bomber TvT subject, his dip in form there pretty much coincides with his improvement in TvZ. I don't think it's outside the realms of possibility to consider that he's just spent some time recently shoring up his weakest match up. If he's coming into the series off the back of a fortnights prep for it I don't think we'll have to worry too much about his TvT crumbling and we should be in for an enjoyable series between 2 excellent players =)

Pretty happy with the results of the last groups, although admittedly I was kinda rooting for Polt because he makes TvT interesting. I'm not actually worried about Taeja being in the up/down matches as I think he can hold his own.
So happy for Coca ^-^ I hope he can make it far this season ( Secretly wants a Coca vs Bomber finals so there can be revenge for MLG).
I'm pleased Supernova made it out of his group but I will have to root against him since he faces DRG next.
The brackets looks so lopsided but who knows we could end up with an interesting final pair regardless.

The way I see it, if Bomber and MVP both bring their A games then Bomber wins. But MVP is a lot more likely to bring his A game than Bomber is, and Bomber has a history of randomly screwing up or losing the game on a terrible decision. It could really go either way.
