As for slurping, I find it more acceptable in Asian countries than western, though of course there are always circumstances where it's frowned upon everywhere. In general there's a lot more street food culture in Asia, so it's fairly normal to see less manners outside and more manners in a nicer sit-down restaurant. | ||

I dont know how much you know asia but as someone growing up there, slurping has never been an impolite act. Ofcouse i'm not referring to the westernised area :D | ||
