Everyone not in the Program which is taking a straight spot into pool play gets a chance at code A.
The Code A invites were clarified to be available only to players who are not affiliated with a korean (non-foreign) team. This is why Ganzi could not get a Code A invite for his 4th place finish at Anaheim after battling through the open bracket, because he is a member of SlayerS.
HerO is a member of oGs-TL so he probably isn't ineligible, although I still have not heard any official word on whether EG is eligible or not, which would affect PuMa and IdrA

Thats kinda bullshit Actually, I think his second Code A October seeding is more "deserving" than his first seeding. Why? He makes the effort to go both MLG and compete in Korea instead of giving GSL one try and then leave the country. He should now be more capable to come a bit farther in the Code A rounds, which makes the Code A seeding less of a farce and more legitimate. In terms of GOMs business strategy, Naniwa is a success to their "get foreigners to stay in Korea"-strategy.

Last thing, I believe it has been said, that only Korean team based players (so not the Koreans in general) are unable to get Code A from MLG, so that would mean, HerO and Puma won their Code A spots in Raleigh but they can't use them until November, is that correct? No, Korean players don't get seeds for Code A PERIOD. No ifs ands or buts.
What about Select?

Already answered, was kind of a joke post anyways =P.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to bring this up, and I don't want to start a huge internet argument, but why is SlayerS not sending Eve to the qualifiers?
That's twice now that her name has not been listed on the roster of SlayerS players trying to qualify. Also, the scope of the qualifiers has been expanded from top 200 only to include a lot more players, so if they're actually serious about her then I can't really see a reason why she's not participating.

The annoying part is that TL, GOM, or EG will not clarify this despite the question being asked multiple times.

So potentially next GSL we could see Yellow vs MarineKing in Code A, or in Code S next next GSL.
A Clash of Kongs, as George RR Martin would so eloquently put it.

unless being on a team takes precedence over ladder ranking... but in any case, i don't think eve is a masters player yet.

Anyone notice that SlayerS_Dragon is finally trying? OMG. <3

it could also be just that they dont want to send her out until they are sure she'll do fairly well in the qualifiers, i have a feeling she is there for the long term and SlayerS is perfectly willing to wait until everyones comfortable with skill levels etc. also there will no doubt be some sort of negative reaction no matter how she does, so giving her more time to prepare mentally

There are too many players that I want to see in Code A next season, hoping to see YellOw's training pay off the most, though.

Code A Qualifiers looks like a horror story!. SO many gstl allkillers and players that could make code s players sweat.

Hey cArn, are you training w the Korean teams still? Prime was it? Why don't you just bootcamp w them and practice discuss non-stop like the others? GG's LastShadow uses google translator etc. Playing ladder and analyzing replays is all good, but having discussions with similar high-level players and grinding out specific match-ups and build orders is a totally different thing.
