Kiwikaki is good, but he couldn't even make it out of the loser's bracket of the NA invitational. If he can't even do well in a NORTH AMERICAN ONLY tournament how in the world do you honestly see him getting anything but embarassed in Korea. Ok I don't mind NA only tournament bashing but this is heavily misleading. The tournament only had 8 players and he got knocked out by Huk. You make it sound like he was knocked out by some no-name in some mlg-type tournament in the losers bracket.

Or would random noname b-team Koreans smash him? random b teamer would have smashed him but if he were given the right practice environment he would have been a sick beast, any foreigner would have gotten smashed by random b teamers in the estro challenge thingy jf was actually the foreigner who put up the best fight vs the korean players

I don't mind him defending Kiwi, but saying he "deserves" a spot in the most prestigious and competitive SC2 league in the world over someone who's already earned it and consistently keeps his spot is a bit over the top. Code S is ruthless. No one DESERVES a spot in Code S that hasn't earned it. Look at DRG! He probably deserves to be there over at least a couple Zergs in there, but he still hasn't earned it.

And the day the swedes were playing they had just arrived the day before and had some jet lag and not much practice even before that. And considering most of the korean themselfs even has close to 50% win loss percent in gsl and gstl, only DRG, Nestea have like 70% on winrate. So it does like pretty decent excluding the crappy gsl day they had. Thorzain - 4 wins 3 losses. Nani - 1 win 2 losses Fenix - 2 wins 3 losses Looks like any decent korean results to me, and they haven't been in korea practicing that long unlike the koreans. Korean players in GSL arn't considered "decent" if they have 40% win ratios. They're mocked and laughed at by Artosis.... so I guess if you want to throw TZain, Nani and Fenix into that group then go ahead lol.

They're the few exceptions to the rule. I think the ESTRO coach said that if NonY stayed and trained longer, he had a chance of making the A team.
