The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:

1. Whining about stream
2. Bashing other games
3. Flaming other users
4. Bashing players
5. Complaining about imbalance

Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#)

The problem for EG is that their practice consists of ladder matches on the NA server all day. Regardless of if they are in GM or Masters, they are still laddering on the NA server, which in no way prepares them to show up at a tournament and post results against top Koreans and Europeans.

There is a reason why HuK, who continues to live and practice in Korea, is the only one posting fairly strong results.

Having a team house in the US did nothing but put them all under the same roof.

uhhh, practicing against each other from time to time helps a bit too.

Nada, ro16 Code S.

Ret, won Eu Blizz Invitational.

code S > any eu tournament without koreans.

ur basing ur decision off of isolated shit tho man, gotta focus on their ingame skill rather than results(even tho i do agree results are extremly important aswell)

the way ur supposed to deduct how a player is better than another is by how they play, dont take the results into consideration(as hard and stupid as that might sound)

Both have one awful match up. But imo Nada's macro/positionning (this one improved a lot on the past months) still gives him an edge (and the fact tha Ret doesn't play P for their recent confrontation)

Really wonder when people will start to be realistic about Haypro. Grandmaster-material and thats it.
Achieving something in tournaments requires way more. Yes he may be a nice guy and all but that doesn´t count much in a competitive setting.

Nada...for now.

So unconvincing lately, but still good enough to be considered all round stronger than Ret.

u sure? from wat i saw yesterday id give ret a 60-40 edge(skillwise)

I think all these skill comparisons are still way too shaky and volatile right now to make much sense. Ret was looking relatively mediocre for quite a while until he absolutely tore through the EU invitational, while Nada was looking extremely strong and a real contender for Code S until he got abolutely dismantled by Byun last season. Right now I would give a small edge to Ret, but that might very well change again soon.

i shit u not all the progamees predicted that ret would crush the blizzard eu before it happened, that was based off of his ingame skill that we saw from him in practice games and such.. we didnt base our decision off of tournaments results(if we used that logic than naniwa should have been the favorite)

Very few of us have inside information from practice games so all we have to base our perception of player skill on is the tournament games they play (and their streams).
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

IPL Champion last season - Idra

Feel free to stop spouting nonsense.

If you want to argue with him at least stop quoting results from NA only tournaments?

If you Read his post you would see that he only said NA tournaments.

Look at IPL...
at every american event americans get rolled, if koreans are there by koreans, if europeans are there by europeans[/QUOTE

I see, but there aren't any tournaments with EU people are there? It's generally quite isolated. Mainly NA getting Koreans in. I'm not trying to argue anything I'm generally interested.

I wasnt really arguing that point, nor that Euros arent stronger as a group (they most definitly are). More that he was just full of crap about Euros dominating NA tournies.

That said. MLG 2010 had Ret, Nazgul, Jinro, Socke, Haypro, Sjow and TLO all played last season.
