Holy shit, July totally stepped up his game. So awesome! And HuK Nada and Puzzle Ryung. God damn there were some good games today!

Sad to see NesTea out, but MVP is one of the few Terrans i like. In fact my second favourite Korean!
HuK yay, what a performance and how good he looks with the EG shirt. Just by switching the shirt he looks like he's trained himself 5 kilo of muscles.

People are saying MVP taking out NesTea is one of the biggest upsets in the tournament? What? MVP was the clear favorite in the match.

Grats to MVP, Huk, Ryung, and July. Time to go watch the games.

This is probably Huk's easiest path possible to a championship.

What are u talking about? MVP probably the best player at the moment in RO8. The semi-finals are okay for him yes, but only if he beats MVP, which i don't give him more than 10% chance to do. Also the finals he can face Polt. 'Nuff said.

Actually, MvP is an absolute beast in TvT and TvZ but have previously been having really big problems in TvP. If he has fixed that, I'd agree, but it's not wrong to point to that flaw in his game.

You're still under the impression that MVP is the same MVP from 3 months ago in TvP. Did you not see him demolish MC over and over again in recent games? And that's just one example off the top of my head, i don't remember the last time i saw him loss vs protoss recently.

MC has been struggling against Terran for a while now. I think Huk has better PvT.

Hopefully this is the only dumb comment I have to read today.

Bleh, MVP over nestea, but really -.- I'm expecting MVP to take this GSL and MC to take the next one XD in order to balance out 3 GSL's each between the big three

YEA HUK! Foriegnhers still here!

As much as I think MVP is going to roll Huk, I am rooting for him. I want to see another foreigner make it to the semi-finals.

2 toss left :D better than I expected. only 1 zerg and 5 terrans. Every match from round of 8 onwards is going to have a terran, unless Huk pulls a miracle and July wins too :D

Lol Amen. 2 Toss is a miracle. Huk really showed some good play even with the caveat of no 1/1/1 and Nada's just wierd strat choices.

edit: Can't say I'm unhappy to see July advance. I mean I wish Hongun coud have continued on but July is an entertainer.

Wow. I just realized July doesn't have to play a ZvZ in this tourney anymore. He actually has a decent shot at the finals. Damn, son.

Correction: Decent shot at the semis. I don't see him getting past MVP unless he pulls some of his cheese off.

MVP is the scariest macro TvZ'er I've ever seen. Even in his games vs DRG back at MLG, you see him expanding very quickly while still applying tons of pressure. I dunno how he does it, or if there's a weakness to it, but god damn he looks good in that match-up.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

Oh man July is lame as usual >"< Every one calling MVP bunker rush is bad but at least he won in a straight up macro game.
Puzzle played so weird like trying to prove he's a real puzzle.
HuK played sloppy, but lucky I guess. Some ppl are just ignorant fanboys calling him cheesy while NaDa attempted to all-in in the last game, and pulled 18 SCVs in 2nd game. And that 2nd just prove how fragile Protoss army are when it's not big enough or sticking together.
Once again MVP didn't fail me, show he's the best TvZ and Nestea is weak again giants

I can't say I am surprised by MVP winning, I expected him to since Nestea's worst match up is TvZ and MVP is a really solid player. If HuK is against MVP as people seem to be suggesting, HuK does have a decent shot with MVP's worst matchup being Protoss. Either way I like them both so I am glad they are advancing (though Nestea not going further is sad).

HA, I can't believe Wolf and DoA said that MVP winning over Nestea was an upset considering that Nestea's worst match up is vs Terran and MVP's best is vs Zerg. On top of that, MVP has like 8 games over Nestea on televised matches. Even Nestea admits he never beats MVP in practice.

Nestea isn't weak against giants. Just MVP and MMA, best TvZers.

Nestea beating MVP would have been the upset. Nestea ZvT is just not that great whereas he is impossible to beat in the other 2 matchups. This looks like an MVP vs Polt finals now.

I like watching July. Too many Zergs drone like a teenage boy beating off in his room with one eye on the door in case his mum comes up the stairs, and then has to try and shove everything back in his pants at the last second when she does. With July, it's like he's noisily banging his girlfriend while yelling downstairs that his goddamn dinner had better be ready when he's done.

I'm pretty sure everyone is weak against giants. Their feet are like the size of houses. A strong blow from their giant nostrils could probably crush your bones (depending on your closeness to their nostrils).

Yeah! Huk, that was amazing! If he can beat MVP in the Ro8, he can beat everyone. Go Huk!
