Just another day at the GSL really. 8 out of 16 players advance. 2 out of 4 Protosses advanced (2 out of 3 against Terran). 1 out of 2 Zergs advanced (0 out of 1 against Terran). 5 out of 10 Terran players advanced. Point out the 'continued' domination please. Are you "really" counting Terrans losing in a MIRROR match? Ok, that's it for now, I can only handle so much stupidity on one day... What? All non TvT results add up to 50% as there were no mirror matches besides TvT. And you call me stupid for that? Count carefully...T won 3 games out of 5 in TvZ/P 3 out of 5? It's almost like their chances of winning are 50% and the discrete nature of win/loss numbers in a match of starcraft forced the eventual number in a very small sample set to land on the higher side! Call David Kim -- NERF STATISTICS T.T It's amazing how Terran win ratios in the GSL always tend to land on the "higher side". And that's with reasonably large samples from a whole month of Code A/S and GSTL. Different argument. I was just backing up the guy who was being called stupid by the guy calling people stupid whilst being stupid. Yes? :p MVP -- Optimus finals --> MVP champion (MVP and Optimus not afraid to 1-1-1 Huk and Genius out, respectively) MVP has expressed his distaste for 1/1/1, so maybe he'll play straight-up. Optimus might actually lose to Keen, should the latter play like he played against Bomber.
MVP is just not going to use the normal one, he is still going to push/contain using the marine tank banshee raven bullshit.

His drop timings are immaculate and his push timings are always at the moments that he needs to push. His style is very subtle and is quietly enjoyable to watch. No other Terran can match him at the moment. It's a completely static style that simply aims to abuse timings wherever possible. He gets a fast third because he knows Zerg can't punish it while also being right at the Zerg's throat. His understanding of the matchup is unmatched but really there isn't anything exciting about it. Sounds like you really really hate Thorzain. Yes I think his playstyle is boring too but his skill just doesn't compare to MVP.

Now 2x champions MC and Nestea will get new partner on top MVP! Nestea is a 3x champ, beating mkp, losira, and i think inca [july, may, last oct]
That's why Nestea lost. He's beaten every race in the finals except random. He's waiting for a random player to get to the finals so he can complete his trophy collection.
Step it up Guineapig!

Actually you just don't like Terrans, do you ? Because if one player cannot be reduced to a particular tactics, it's MvP he can do pretty much everything a Terran can do, he's the races's most valuable player, dude !

OMG OMG OMG Huk beat Nada? I haven't had a chance to watch the games yet. Nice I'm proud of him

Fun fact! Race distrubution for next season:
+ Show Spoiler + 16 terrans (the existing 15 + either GanZi/MKP) 5 Protoss 4 Zerg
+ 6 players from up/down
6 terrans (including Ganzi/MKP and Taeja) 5 Zerg (including Losira, Leenock) 4 Protoss (including MC, Tester, Alicia)
Just saying.

Huk beat NaDa eh?
Dude must be improving quite a bit lately. This is the furthest he's gotten in a GSL thus far right?

Polt and keen can do it also.

Huk coming back from 30 supply down. Impressive.

HUKK!! YESS!!
So happy now. I was so upset when Zenio got knocked out but this has made it all better.
JOINING EG RUINED YOUR CAREER HUK, ONLY GSL RO8 LOL

I haven't watched all the matches yet, but I've gotta say, Wolf / Doa talking about MVP like he's nothing (biggest GSL upset? wtf) really bothers me. Anyone that knew anything about the matchup would've put MVP as the clear favorite.
Nestea's ZvT is his "worst" matchup.
Meanwhile, MVP's TvZ is more or less on par with MMA, in that they simply do not lose TvZ - doubly so when they're at the top of their game (as MVP has been, just watch his recent MLG/GSL games). As Nestea was thoroughly crushed by MMA (game wasn't even close), there was really no reason to believe he'd do all that much better against MVP.

what happened to tastosis?
|
HuK's gonna travel again so that means less practice. I hope he'll do well against MVP...
I don't like any of these terrans, so if HuK doesn't do it, I hope Genius or July will.

Its weird, HuK changes teams and suddenly I'm rooting for him! 'uk 'uk 'uk!

They flew to USA the day before/ the same day to prepare for Raleigh I believe !

You sure you heard them right? I have a hard time believing they would say something that retarded.

I can confirm it, they talked about it like it was totally unexpected and MVP was a second class player. At least that was my impression.
