This schedule is SO retarded. Why spread everything out so much? Also, wednesday is press only, right? So I won't be able to watch idra, great...

I'm expecting Huk, MC or Puma to take it. They're way above everyone else in terms of skill level. Well, maybe not Huk.. he seems really inconsistent lately.

mc invite again -.-

why do _all_ tournaments feel that they need to invite MC. Sure he might be a great player, but there are many great players in korea.

Because MC is one of the few top koreans who have sponsors who fly them to europe.

Huk is in Nerchio group and considering huk had huge problems vs Stephano recently I dont expect huk to beat Nerchio

Well we haven't seen a game of Puma since NASL and MC has done pretty poorly in GSL and GSTL so I don't really expect too much from any of them. Although it wouldn't be a surprise if they finish on top it's not totally unlikely that they won't imo.

MC is one of the few Korean players with a sponsor for travelling to foreign tournaments. Also, since he's been eliminated already from code S he has the free time whereas Nestea, MVP, MKP, etc don't. Then there's the small matter of MC being one of the most popular Koreans to the foreign scene.

None of the 4 Korean trained players have any momentum going into this tournament so that's a bit of a moot point. MVP hadn't accomplished anything of note in several months leading up to MLG Anaheim, yet he still dominated the opposition. Puma was a nobody before his NASL win. Moon had fallen completely out of the GSL yet took 2nd at Dreamhack and IEM world championship. History tells us the Koreans or Huk are the heavy favorites until the actually lose. For me I'd say Puma is favorite since he is very strong against protoss.

well yeah recently, but MC has been the one or one of the korean invites for the last couple of months. and the sponsorship with SK is only about 1 month or so old.

guess it makes sense for IEM since mc is always a fan favourite and ensures many watchers

1) PuMa
2) Nerchio
3) MC
4) HuK

Tempted to place MC at fourth even because he just looks out of it lately but who knows maybe he'll be back to old form.
