grubby is a mid tier sc2 player. Imo Would be better if they played the showmatch in both wc3 and broodwar.

These matches should be fun. Best of luck to both gladiators. Enjoy!
Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not. 파이팅! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ"

as for sc2 both are doing well in the gm league so that should be fun to watch

ThorZaIN. NaNi. SaSe. Grubby. ToD. All those seem pretty damn "tops in sc2".

(imo Grubby is one of the top sc2 player in EU, but I'm sure many disagree).

Unless you're talking about "tops in sc2"being the koreans but that wouldn't make sense, not that many koreans played wc3 so the comparison is not valid.

well i wont argue about this (becaus this isnt the place for that) but it should be clear what im talking about.
the WCG used to be the most prestigious tourney in the world and players like Moon and Lyn have done very well there. But do you see them in the GSL finals? or CODE S? most of the other ex wc3 pros dont even compete.
I am very mad because i am german. Also i hate web 2.0.

Well there are better expamples than Grubby, who isn't doing too great imo, just replace him with Hasu in your list.

...these players still play wc3 to qualify for the WCG and play in the last leagues.
the wc3 scene in korea was nowhere as developped as the bw scene,
in the foreign scene, it cannot be denied that almost all of the skill monsters played wc3 before, including stephano.
anyway, the only reason behind all of this has always been training, ex-bw kr players now train exclusively on sc2, while former wc3 glories are hybrid players. a counter-example being Maka, former wc3 player, who now plays sc2 full-time, and i guess he does quite decent for someone that was nowhere near the top of the wc3 scene.

I love both players soo much, so I don't really mind who wins, just looking forward to a set of great games!

If I had to predo, I'd say:

WC3: 3-0 grubbs
SC2: 4-3 TLO

But hey, what do I know....

I'm pumped for this. I have seen little more than random clips of competitive WC3, so this is the perfect entry point for me.

I'm kind of pulling for TLO, but I really just hope to see some entertaining games.

I watched just a few minutes of TLO's stream a few days earlier but had to close it quick when I got called out. In those few minutes I saw one of the best medivac-lifting-marauders micro I have ever seen. With that he won a small fight that he never should have.

Grubby will destroy TLO in WC3, but I expect TLO to destroy Grubby in SC2.

Here's for a bold prediction - TLO will win one game in WarCraft III... somehow. (???)
It's TLO, he makes people believe in miracles.

edit: awww, Grubby plays music from WC 2 <3

Damn, why isn't ESL stream in Teevox? It would be great to watch ESL stream with Grubby's and TLO's stream in PiP there
