It's a strong all in timing attack and that's it. It is holdable, but every protoss I've ever seen lose to it at the professional level seems to be surprised when the tanks show up. At this point you'd think they should be expecting it. I could be misinterpreting your post, but are you saying protoss players are building immortals to counter marines and banshees? Why else do you think they are building immortals if they aren't expecting tanks? =/

TheBest against Yoda. fenix against morrow. Nada has forgotten it in 3 or 4 televized matches. qxc forgot it against Rain. it's like forgetting ling speed Yeah, but you usually get ling speed (or WG for protoss) early in the game at a time where you don't have much else to do. When you're supposed to get siege mode the pace of the game is usually more intense and you can forget/missclick it a bit more easily. That said it doesn't make it excusable at pro level ![]()

Seems like this would work against a Terran that just doesn't position himself carefully enough. Ground army has a lot of zealots in it. You come in with your phoenix after you engage anyway so either terran. Tries to focus one of your 3 phoenix and eats zealot blades. Stutter steps himself too far away from the situation to kill all of them. Either way, your not in for a VERY win against the 111. But you might hang on with like 1 phoenix a couple zealots and maybe a sentry and a couple stalkers.

I wonder if making a swarm of zealots + phoenixes would work. In my head I see it work but I dunno.
