because why not? Because there's a reason why this doesn't happen in other sports/events? It happens all the time? No it doesn't. plz tell me what sports you are watching where they don't interview losers, really curious
Interviewing losers is quite common in European events as far as I can see, but otherwise not really. It's basically never done in Korea, and I have to say I like it better that way. It's just torture, players are physically and mentally drained.

so stop it. They never interview losers immediately after a match. They give them time to gather their composure.
Press conferences are at least 30 minutes after a game is over.

Ret played better than Naniwa, therefore Ret outplayed him... Can't you read? He completely gave away ~10 sentries, that's not getting outplayed, that's him screwing himself over. If i kill my own hatch at the beginning of the game, that's not getting outplayed. Killing your own hatch can be a misclick Losing 8 sentries because you are too slow to force field is naniwa playing really badly.
Which is why it's nani fucking himself over, not getting outplayed.

AM i the only one who can't seem to get the stream to work? :/

Be a masterleague Protoss however I gotta say it can be tough being close pos against a potential aggresive zerg (which Ret is if he spots the opportunity)...
But as ppl already pointed out... losing 8 sentries (400mins / 800gas) will make a huge gap in your army/tech later on... And him killing of a queen and some lings in return still doesn't make up for it

because why not? Because there's a reason why this doesn't happen in other sports/events? It happens all the time? No it doesn't. It's ultra standard in soccer to interview the losing coach and some random players. Of course it might not be 5 minuts after the match. Don't get the big deal about it. It's interesting for the viewers to hear the thoughts of the players and ultimately viewers pay the bill for progamers, so just suck it up and do an interview
It should be standard. If my player loses I WANT to hear his thoughts. I WANT to know what he felt he did wrong and any closing words on the game. I have to account the player may not feel good but it's the least he can do for his fans.

So, it seems there is no WOW break.

Hopefully it will lead up to a Thorzain vs Naniwa rematch

I might have misunderstood what he meant but to me he wasn't complaining about close positions, he was complaining about not being informed it was the close position enabled version of the map. It might have influenced his strategy.....if so, it's his fault for not checking that but he might have taken it for granted...

He lost those sentries because Ret had a flank set up. And Ret forced Naniwa to pay attention to his base in case of runby's, so Ret basically made Naniwa lose those sentries through his play.

Of course it does. And they very often blame anything or anyone they can.
Ever heard a football-player complain about a referee? Yeah? That's very seldom the winner speaking.

Nerchio has been dominating in smaller EU tournies and definitely fighting for position of best Zerg, especially because Ret hasn't shown that many results lately.
Hard to compare the two though as they play a completely different style. Nerchio is a fucking beast though

I was far far more impressed by Nerchio today then Ret. Ret can drone, Nerchio has incredible map awareness and unit control.

Yes, and play them. If you've competed in anything serious your entire life you would know that a lot of people don't want to be interviewed straight after a defeat. Adrenaline is still going through you, you've put a lot of emotion and effort into to the game you've just lost. You're not really thinking straight or composed.
Seriously, pro gamers within in the community have commented on this many times. And always say they'd want at least a few minutes to calm down and compose themselves.
