GG WP Seiplo. I'm really hoping he'll pull through. He's been playing his heart out since beta and vZ is his weakest match up.

I don't think it has much do with Europeans playing better but Huk, Sen and Nada didn't play that well for what ever reason Nada plays not his A-game at all outside of the GSL. I hope he will get better when sk is sending him out for other foreign events. I don't have much hope so, because I'm pretty sure he will have to go to university again, it will only get worse.

that game was pretty retarded
I am NOT calling imbalance, but stephano kind of deserved to win that he baited a lot of forcefields multiple times before the 6gate even got to his base, had 3 spines, got a great surround with lings which should have done a lot more than it did...
well played by seiplo I guess, he deserves some credit :D

plz dont make any reason i've been in very much pain knowing NaDa lost i just want to get over it already

On the other hand - even though I like NaDa a lot (but due to his personality and BW career) I'm glad that he got eliminated, not because of my countryman did it, but because of his deal with SK. In my opinion they acted really unfair towards Jimpo, supporting him as a promising player and then kicking him, because of lacking big results. It feels like (just like in wc3) they approach big names, and hope that money will equal dominance. That's not the right way...

OMFG T_T NADA T_T
1st game, Talderim Altar South positions - Nada does a half all in off 4 rax 2 base (takes half his SCV's), but Mana puts up amazing force fields, traps all the scv's and half the marines on the ramp. A lot of back and forth but Mana keeps his stalkers alive throughout, gets out his first collosus and from there begins to just push Nada back.
Nada tries to rebuild, but can't get out vikings and rebuild his army so has nothing to stop Mana's 3 collosus + zealot/stalker attack.
2nd game, Cross positions on Crevasse. Both take their inbase natural, nada moves out to do an attack with drop ships and all rax upgrades done while Mana is teching to charge. Nada tries a drop but Mana is ready for it.
Nada pulls back, and they start exchanging armies in the centre, whoever winning push towards the opponent but being pushed back.
Mana takes a hidden 4th that Nada will not scout till very late in the game. Mana gets HT with storm, Nada with ghosts. Some good engagements from Nada take a lot of Mana's units out, but with the 4th Mana's production is huge. Another engagement includes Collosus, and Nada has to start getting vikings.
Mana enters Nada's base while Nada is in the middle of the map, does a lot of damage to production facitilites but loses his army. However he has rebuilt back at his base. Nada takes 4th, but now is low on ghosts. Constant storms from Mana who sends a HT one at a time to avoid EMP's being that effective.
Nada is 3/3 but stim and storms mean his army is always half strength. Tries to drop the 4th after finding it, but by then he has lost his 4th, almost mined out his 3rd and Mana is twice his supply. GG

Thorzain went through open bracket and then got 3-2 in pool play, ended up at 9th total.
For Nerchio, read the tournament winnings recap. He's in that pretty much every time, he's a beast when it comes to online cups and tournaments. 13 tournament wins and 1 silver in June and July. And in online cups in europe you have good players in pretty much all of them, which is one of the reasons why Europe has a large amount of top players, they're playing against each other in tournaments a lot. Nerchio won 5 out of 6 ZOTAC cups in a row, and is the reason why Morrow started playing TvZ instead of ZvZ.

All I saw was EU falling like flies to Bomber, MC, Moon and July. Maybe they got better since then? DH was kind of a wake-up call for Europeans, and perhaps they are training harder now. I guess we'll see at the next big international tournament where both the EU and Korea send their best. MLG just keeps getting worse and worse though. NA players do need to step it up, hard as that maybe. Classic case of interpreting too much into single results.
That's why there's a "maybe" attached, along with a "perhaps," and a question mark.
The Europeans who have been doing really well in this tournament, and knocking out the favorites, are players we haven't seen in a while, especially at LANs. While a fluke is certainly possible, it's also possible that there's a lot more depth to the European scene than Thorzain, Naniwa, and White-Ra.
Even Kas went out against a relative unknown. It's a tournament of upsets, and shows that there is competition out there beyond the regulars that are bantered about all the time.

Blizzard translation is "Champ de force", but casters use to say "Forcefields" or "Glaçon" (Glaçon means Iceblock)

Yeah, sorry I understated them. Terran-bias
The army control, I wasn't so sure about. It was hard to follow that from the commentators movements. They mostly showed where Nada was.
Should note that Mana was great at feedback the ghosts. Constantly.
