This is a Bo3, think of it this way. When you lose in winners you get knocked into the lower bracket, because MVP is a boss and has not dropped a set yet he has not been placed into losers so its almost unfair for him to not have that advantage that double elim has. So if he wins those 2 games he just wins it, if he loses those two games then he is knocked down into losers to face MMA for another Bo3 | ||

That was the way that matches were played between opponents who had already met up previously along in the brackets. MVP needs to win one Bo3 because he's coming from the winner's bracket. MMA needs to win two Bo3s because he's coming from the loser's bracket. | ||

How would you have organized it? With the person who hasn't dropped a set all tournament long getting penalized by the person who got an opportunity to lose a set and come back? | ||

Standard Double elim is the winner bracket player has to win one BO3 the Loser bracket Player has to win 2 BO3s MLG makes it so that you have to win one BO3 as the winners bracket player and one Bo3 then an extended BO7 with the score of the previous Bo3. Assuming MVP Wins this Bo# then Extended Series would never come into Effect | ||
