To everyone asking, basically, MMA has to win 2 best of 3s, the first to knock MVP down to the loser's bracket, and the second to knock him out. MVP only has to beat MMA once. Pretty much MMA has to win 4 before MVP wins 2, because the extended series will carry over.

It's pretty retarded, imo.

If its not taken by the eligable people then it just wont be given out and there will be more spots in the code A qualifiers.

How do you explain Sheth (current) and Fenix (next) getting into Code A then?

Sheth got invited through another means. Fenix got it through the exchange program.

Which is my point. It trickled down to Fenix even though he wasn't top 3 or even top 6 at the last event.

Naniwa : Does he get a second free entry for the following Code A tournament?
Sjow : Not sure how he would feel about it

Well Naniwa has a seed, I THINK sjow declined at columbus (i could be wrong), Ret lost every time he went to GSL and I don't think he'll come back (also I think fenix placed worse than him last time so he probably declined too), Slush declined last time, idra declined last time, haypro see ret Sheth technically still has a code A spot from finishing in the ro16 no?

I fully expect Kiwi/Socke/Moonan/Select would/will take the spots

Edit: To the person above who said Kiwi declined, he tried in the open bracket so idk if he'd decline. Also didn't he do relativly shitty at columbus?

Ganzi gets the first Code A seed. It was answered throughout the thread. They had to change the wording since they didn't account for Koreans coming through the open bracket. It is eligible for any player that isn't a Korean coming through the league exchange program. Otherwise you get the ZOMG MOONAN IS KOREAN and stuff... etc.. etc.. flame wars.

You realize that MLG Lee said he doesn't, right?

Across the both of them, it is the same. Remember that you can only be down 2 games..... if you lose two games in a bo3.

Can someone explain to my why MLG is so fucking stupid format wise? They are making MMA win 2 bo3s... They aren't gonna give code A to boxer... However they are gonna some random guy that got out really early in the tournament code A that would most likely now even use it... What a joke
