It just sets us up for huge disappointment and failure after getting our hopes up when they are pitted against foreign players. I think if Artosis was there to inform the viewers just how good/bad MMA, MVP, Ganzi, or Rain were and enlighten the spectators about their history and playstyles in the GSL, we could get a better idea of what to expect. Instead it seems they're just lumping them all into the "Korean Terran" category which is unfortunate, because they all play differently, with very different relative skill levels. IMO, I thought the casters did a great job, but overly focusing on the Korean vs. foreigner storyline can take away from the experience. What I loved about Tastosis was that they focused on each individual player. It seemed like, in their eyes, Korea vs. foreigner wasn't important. tl;dr I wish the spectators could be better informed of what each individual player brought to the table and not be categorized into "blue flame hellion Terran"[/QUOTE] This is very true, the casters (other than Day9) need to know more about each player (or MLG can provide them background) and describe their individuality, play-styles and characteristics unique to them. | ||
