Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you. |

I thought it was a bunch of pot smokers and people who sit around and chill. I do have to say though, the crowd is quite weak for this event.

(is the answer lower muta numbers?)
The way I see it is that this low siege tank count isn't a "style" it's a good adaptation to high muta play...
Infestors are obv omg good but it's not as easy to just say inf counter marines so build them, broods counter tanks but you can't just go and gt broodlords.

Muta/Ling/Bling and Marine/Tank for 32 minutes just doesn't cut it for the highest tier of play unless you had stupidly good macro and micro like MVP. And an awesome trucker hat. Let's not forget the trucker hat.

Well this sucks, this would have been more epic if both of these guys are fighting in the finals for the code S.

Weak compared to all other previous MLG's and NASL.

I am absorbed by how dynamic SC2 is currently. Constant state of fluidity as strats evolve weekly. It gets different if you have full control over your units These t's are SO good

Idra proven wrong yet again -.- IdrA always says that Zerg's hive tech is not very good. And its situational. You want Brood Lords to break siege tanks, but MMA played with mainly marines there because of how many mutas were out on the field, so brood lords would be less useful. The only reason DRG won on muta ling is cause he was already so far ahead. Would have been much shorter if DRG built anything above lair tech.

neither of these players is 'outclassing' the other, lol

Most likely just due to differnt audio setups.
The crowd often sounds louder when you are watching the other streams. Also if you see videos people are filming from the floor, the crowd is extremely loud. Can anyone at the event comment on how loud the crowd is?

I think DRG's multitasking is really holding him back. his army size always seems to be struggling, even when he has more bases.

So if Mvp wins (which I assume) will the 2nd placed Korean get a Code S spot since Mvp is already in Code S?

Man, that was some BWesque muta micro, impressive game.

MLG needs to change its format. Too many players who have done nothing. Thorzain is at home playing ladder while far inferior players get stomped in pool play. Ridiculous.
