You didn't just started a new ''Hellions are like banelings but shoot flames'' argument again, did you?

It is a well known fact that the Korean SC scene is much further along than anyone else. The concept of pro team houses is really, really new to the "foreigner scene" but has been around for years in Korea. The work ethic required to be a pro in the Korean scene is much higher. Also, and most notably, there are many more high level Korean players. The top 6 of MLG are Koreans, yes. Should this be surprising? Not particularly, especially given who is playing. Look at the current top 6 pragmatically- 1. MVP - 2 time GSL champion, was widely considered the best Terran for months 2. BoxeR - The Emperor. His play was called into question, but nobody complains that he's in the top 6 and nobody doubts that he has the ability to do so. 3. DRG - Widely considered the final zerg in the world top 3 with NesTea and Losira. For a player to be the MLG favourite while not in GSL at all tells you how talented he is. 4. Rain - Somewhat of an underdog, but at the end of the day, he's made a GSL Code-S final. I will use my general StarCraft reasoning - If Nada hasn't done it, it should not be an undervalued accomplishment 5. MMA - Defending champion. Super Tourney. No more required. 6. Ganzi - Widely underrated since he's a Terran on a team with MMA and BoxeR, but he is a force to be reckoned with. These are some of the better players the entire Korean scene has to offer. The Korean scene is much more widely developed, and is in general of a higher skill level. The fact that top Koreans are winning these tournaments can disappoint many, but should surprise none. EDIT; DRG HWAITING <3 Noone claimed it was surprising, just disappointing that yet again foreigners show that they are not really making any ground to catch up.
