Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you. |

the gap is widening... You forgot Alicia Alicia forgot Tod. So because they send over more koreans, which obviously take all the top slots since they practice like 14 hours a day, the skill gap is increasing. Flawless logic, I must say.
It just supports the idea that the skill gap is large.

LOL wait you mean practicing a lot with really good players means you will place high in tournaments? THIS IS CRAZY This. I really wish people would stop acting like Korea is some magical land that pumps out talented players. You don't need to go to Korea to train and get better. All it is is diligent, smart practice and discussion. Not 3 hours a day, 1/3 of which is streaming ladder games. The notion that "it's all because of Korean training," is absurd. That kind of work/training ethic can be applied anywhere. Except Korea is where the best players are, you aren't going to get better by stomping Incontrol in your team house even if you do it 10 hours a day. In the ladder you will face every all-in imaginable from people who have the timings down to the second after doing it hundreds of times. You won't get that on the North American server no matter how diligent you are. There's a reason people like Naniwa and Thorzain want to go to Korea instead of just going to some foreigner teamhouse, despite the potential problems that can put in their life.
Quoted for the TRUTH.

DRG or MMA in code S would be nice. hell if boxer got code S that'd be sick

Which is even worst for foreigners than last MLG, which koreans took 1st-3rd. It doesn't bother me in the silghtest though, the amount of practice they put into their games are really showing compared to our foreigner counterparts now. I really hope that Boxer takes the Code S spot now. Just disappointing, it seems like the days of cool results and epic upsets is over. From here on out the Koreans come, they dominate, one of them wins. Not looking like something like a Naniwa Dallas win is even possible now that the field is dominated by the Koreans. Naniwa's play looked weak in just about every game they streamed of him. This is unfortunate, because he's a really good player. But they didn't stream his good games, just the ones he lost. He said on State of the game before that he wouldn't do very well since he didn't practice much

The (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ has spread like wildfire starting exclusively in the Starcraft 2 community when major streamers for the e-sport had begun getting widespread ddos attacks (Denial of Service). On 7/03/11, many viewers of the streams noticed a concerning amount of downtime from these attacks when one single poster by the name of johnelwaysteeth channeled his rage into one simple emoticon: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻. He was so mad he was starting to flip tables and fuck shit up. This caused a overflow of spam on the reddit thread of it, and a hand full of different variations. The original poster received a influx of upvotes as the spammers were mass downvoted. The meme continues a very strong showing on r/starcraft, as well as most online streamer’s for Starcraft 2, ecspecially ROOTDestiny’s stream.

He didnt give much warning of when he was leaving GSL and it screwed up the group nominations.

He left from Korea and forfeit his code S spot without prior warning.

the gap is widening... You forgot Alicia Alicia had a path of PvP PvP PvP PvP PvP PvP PvP PvP Finally hit the ToD wall
But ToD is a beast in pvp, seriously he also beats puzzle in PvP... On ladder that is!

Next time GSL should send an all Zerg lineup so that we all can laugh when people say that there is a Zerg domination.
Hell, they should rotate between races so that they can mess with the head of balance whines.
Anyways, I feel pretty conflicted by this match. It would be good to see DRG go further but I love MMA

He left Korea and gave up his code S spot without telling anyone, in the first round of code S in July group A was left with only 3 players in it and it kind of screwed over the group.

I will LOL so hard if DRG kicks MMA's ass again.

That was awesome, but don't flip the table again DRG.. The refs might get mad.

Left Korea and didn't tell GSL in enough time.

... Every match from now on will be streamed, except for GanZi vs Rain. From MLG's Twitter; really sucks, I wanted to see that one very badly.
