Ret vs Rain is the most important pool game because it will determine which of 3 great players doesn't move on.
Tyler vs DRG will be total destruction and even if Tyler somehow won 2-0 all it would affect is seeding not who advances.
The choice is clear and i'm glad MLG is doing something smart like this. Tyler vs DRG was one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament. People have been dreaming of this happening since DRG's attendance was announced. I've stayed up all night to see it and now at the last second MLG go "lol jk watch this other game instead"
DRG is clearly advancing so we will absolutely see more DRG games against better opponents than Tyler. I'm not sure why it has to be tyler.

As for the games... Love them! As a terran player, wish they would though :/ Liked the old school TvT, this one just reminds me so insanely much on ZvZ.
Hellion > rines blings > zlings Rines > tanks zlings > roaches tanks > hellions roaches > blings Maybe not totally accurate, but it still feels rather similar.
Edit And ofcourse hellion/bling >>>>>>>>>>> workers

No one knows, LOL.

Call me a neophyte, but what's the deal with Tyler and DRG? I keep hearing it but have no clue as to what's special about it.

I may be wrong.. but think Rain has an incentive to throw his games. He advances no matter how this turns out. But given how the tournament turned out.. he may respect the play of a Korean more than Ret.
Actually nvm.. is this extended series format?

Pretty quick spire from Ret.
