Incredible story coming out of the Open Bracket: Epgimix, the player who White-Ra DQ'd to yesterday, is playing him now. Before the start of the first game, in the pregame chat, Gimix said to White-Ra, "let's do this the right way."

He then proceeded to throw all his SCVs at White-Ra in the first game, and then in the second game. Obviously, he lost both games. The series is now back even at 2-2 and has essentially been reset.

Incredible manner and sportsmanship from Gimix.

Incredible. This needs to be quoted and requoted over and over.

I'm sorry.. maybe its because its almost 3am, but can someone explain what happened?

White-ra lost to him in the winners bracket because he disconnected.
Now they meet again in the losers bracket and Gimix is up 2-0 in the extended series, but throws 2 games away to make it fair.

Awesome, need more people like that, to get it into MLGs head that extended series are stupid(except the finals, though they do make the finals a lot more boring), since both have lost a series to be in loser bracket, shouldn't matter against whom they lost.

WhiteRa technically lost to him by DQ yesterday in the winners bracket, so when they met again in the losers bracket Gimix was technically ahead 2-0 due to extended series. He gave White-Ra 2 games cause being up 2-0 for nothing is dumb and so essntially eliminated his advantage.

White Ra was late and was DQ'd from his first match. His original opponent, Gimix, decided that the disqualification did not sit well with him so he threw two games to even the record, negating White Ras disqualification.

Is there a results page for championship bracket? I searched MLG's site and can only find a standing page that shows wins/losses.

Last MLG there was that page that had replays available and showed results for every game.

Championship bracket hasn't started yet. You can go here to see the Open bracket (click on Loser's Bracket on the left for the current matches going on):

As far as I'm aware, Gimix was given a win because Whitera never showed up.

Kind of is, just said disconnected instead of disqualified, which is a mistake anyone could make.

I feel like the EG players aren't practising as much as other teams are.

This is just a completely unfounded accusation, but they aren't doing so well, so I'm wondering.

Liquid was doing bad for a while as well. Give them time and they will bounce back.

Bad for liquid was only have 1 or 2 players in the top 8 of every tournament instead of winning them all. Even at their '"worst" every player interested in playing the MLG's had a spot in pool play and they had one player in code S and one in code A. EG has never been comparable, only IdrA has done anything since Demuslim has been injured for almost all of the major tournaments since he was signed.

White-Ra didn't disconnect, he was disqualified because he was late, and got moved to the loser's bracket.
