nooooooes! I dont think hes out.. hes going into an extended series definitely not out... check his recent matches... he's ripping heads off left and right... unless I'm far off he's actually 3-2 in the extended series now. 2-2 I think, cause the other dude gave him 2 games since DQ wins aren't fair.

From MLG feed:
"Open Bracket: Epgimix, the player who White-Ra DQ'd to yesterday, is playing him now. Before the start of the first game, in the pregame chat, Gimix said to White-Ra, "let's do this the right way."
He then proceeded to throw all his SCVs at White-Ra in the first game, and then in the second game. Obviously, he lost both games. The series is now back even at 2-2 and has essentially been reset.
Incredible manner and sportsmanship from Gimix."
Props to Gimix.

Showing MLG that the extended series after a forfeit is ludicrous and completely defeats the notion of " the player who won the first set deserves to be ahead in a rematch".

It's absolutely ridiculous to be disqualified and then be at a game disadvantage against the player who you were disqualified against. I always thought the point of tournament rules was to maintain fairness for the players but I don't see how this is fair at all. Let's say player X wasn't just late, but just completely blew off the game and forfeited that match. Then met up again in the loser's bracket. Why should he get to start off even? How is that more fair?
Because they've still never played before? Why should Player Y get an advantage against Player X even if Player X blew off the first match, he already got an advantage, he moved forward without having to play that player, it's not like you can gain any advantage by forcibly disqualifying yourself from one match, there's no reason to further penalize a player in a second match, it's absolutely unfair.
They've never played why is it unfair that they start off even?
