Ask yourself how many people do you think are going to join the military because of games like CoD. I know military video games like Battlefield and CoD played at least some part in my decision to want to join the Marines. Hell, the army already realized the potential when they created their America's Army.
Also games liek Cod and gears of war are popular with the army. Read and article some tiem ago, that the US army ordered over 10,000 copies of gears of war 2.

him playing is basically the equivalent if bill russell was still playing in the nba and beating younger players (not to mention while dealing with a shoulder injury)
The age thing is a load of bullshit, you don't really become worse at video games when you age. You just get responsibilities, lose motivation etc and practice less.
The injury is a legitimate mitigating factor for him though, obviously.
You don't get worse at video games but your concentration, reaction time, and the muscle fibers to preform some actions wear down.
It's not bullshit.
Yeah, all that happens when you turn like 80. 30 years old is fucking young, dude.
Actually, some parts of your cognitive ability start declining at the age of 25
Videogames use a very small amount of mental ability, regardless of how difficult it may seem
the difference is negligible.
Do you mean physical ability? High level StarCraft is all about mind games and thinking. I'm fairly certain that it requires you to be intelligent and constantly alert.
Also MLG's system is so stupid, can't believe White-Ra missed his match, I know that things like that have angered a lot of pros like ThorZaIN and MorroW.
nope, I mean mental activity. Being a progamer is about constant practice and most of it is just reacting to situations you have already seen.
the brain is very inactive when playing videogames
Does anyone else have problems with the streams? I restarted, tried different browsers, even updated Flash. It worked perfectly up until a few minutes ago. If this stays like this I'll be pissed off.

I like it Makes Tod's first win actually mean something rather than everything being reset, he has already beaten him, that should should actually buy him something in the grand scheme of things.
