Alright, its truly time to stop whining. Stop caster bashing also. Be warned. |

From the looks of it, Jinro was going for a fast ghost timing build. That's why he didn't have an engineering bay. the 9 minute 2 ghost attack has a +1 weapons Doesn't mean he was going for that exact attack. Jinro was cutting upgrades for units. That indicates to me that he was either expecting an all-in from Choya or was preparing some kind of stim + ghost timing, and the fast ghost academy makes the latter a bit more likely. I said: the 9 minute 2 ghost attack has a +1 weapons. You said: preparing some kind of stim + ghost timing, and the fast ghost academy makes the latter a bit more likely. We're talking about the exact same timing attack. So in your world, the only ghost + stim timing attack possible is a +1 weapon 9 minute 2 ghost attack? Jinro is known to craft his own builds, not just use those he finds on the internet. Yes. The 9 minute 2 ghost is the most popular build from korean terran progamers they use it almost every single game, and no it's not a build he found on the internet, it was created by MarineKingPrime. Oh I know who Jinro is thxs, you dont need to educate me. I find it unlikely that Jinro managed to forget both an engineering bay and the +1 attack it was supposed to upgrade if he was going for 9 minute 2 ghost. I already mentioned this but I think it got ignored. I'm fairly certain that with that attack you start +1 Weapons before you move out, but when your push hits you don't have +1 Bio Weapons yet. I could be wrong, but I've seen MarineKingPrime do that exact build you're talking about and he moved out before the +1 Weapons. I don't know if there is time to get all the tech lab upgrades, Ghosts, Marauders, AND +1 Weapons by the 9 minute mark.

Crazy indecisiveness from Choya. He had a great lead than he went crazy with his tech for some reason. I think Choya was responsible for losing that one.

choya tried to play mindgames with tyler and i think it ended up confusing him what his gameplan was after the first engagement

Man I don't know what to watch after this. Boxer vs. Incontrol or DRG vs. Haypro.
High quality problems

I disagree. It worked pretty well. That battle might have been game ending without it because Tyler's composition was just that much better.

Maybe mid quality problems? Lol.

In terms of maps, is the first map chosen randomly, and then it becomes loser's pick?

Choya's is slightly earlier

choya had more ranged and zealots are bad in that spot where your opponent can blink up a cliff w/ a choke, better to just let it finish cuz he clearly had a timing attack in mind to deal with that expo possibility (notice how many probes tyler cut before his final push)

Wow, I paid for membership and I have to "wait to see the full benefits of my membership"? I bought the fucking membership FOR ANAHEIM, and I'm not even going to get to see the stream in HD or without ads? What a joke.

And yes I know he is dominating his pool at the moment, but still...
True that, I'm really enjoying watch him tear through everyone in his pool so far.

pls dont lose to cannon rush or proxies

The coolest thing to see was Tyler delay his nexus against the immortal stalker comp after he, himself opened blink with no robo. A common thing i see on ladder are players taking that nexus and going up to 6 gates and try to hold with just a lot of stuff.

So you assumed Choya was an android and was above mistakes? So wouldn't we be better off letting the game play out and account for possible mistakes?

He's not an underdog here. Among Koreans he is, but among foreigners, he's definately among the best

Yep, Day9 made it sound really dire (and in some ways it was), but Choya chasing Tyler with blink didn't work out as well as it sounded because it ended up being stalker on stalker and Tyler had more stalkers, at least in the beginning. As long as he moved his stalkers back and didn't take damage from the immortals and zealots that were lagging behind, he could trade evenly.
