I hope hope hope hope hope it's not a ZvZ finals because I don't think it will be that entertaining. Some ZvZ games can be sweet (NesTea vs July this season rings a bell) but most of them aren't that fun to watch. :\

So let's hope it's either a ZvT with nestea & byun winning or a ZvP with Losira and Hongun winning. Although a PvT with Hongun vs Byun would be fun too, I don't see that happening.

Idk what I want from this. ZvZ finals in most cases would suck, but if you're gonna have it, why not use the top 2 which know each other's styles so you can hope for late game awesomeness. However, it wouldnt be surprising if Nestea held out some pro strat that just owns everything he showed losira in case they ever met. Byun has had some entertaining TvZ games with Zenio in the past (both games from Terminus come to mind). Then again, you never know with Hongun making the run of ages with terribad wrists and winning his first ever PvP lol. Knowing GSL, it's either going to be Nestea 4-0/4-1 vs the winner of the other semifinal, or Hongun in the final getting crushed after knocking out all the players that would have made the finals worthwhile >.<

Hongun has pulled off miracles before. When did he take a set off anyone in PvP? 0% win percentage > MC 3-1? wtf. Hongun just makes other people play bad when they face him.

And interestingly enough, his first GSL lost to a protoss was by San, the person LEAST expected to be able to defeat Nestea.

I've underestimated Hongun pretty much every step of the way so far.....and I'm going to continue doing so. Nestea 3-0. Losira vs Byun should be good. Hoping for Losira to pull it out since we've never had a ZvZ finals and I hate Byun for beating Bomber.

What? San was definitely NOT the favorite. To put it in perspective, Artosis promised to swallow a sword if San won the game. Then he was just like oh shit when it happened. San was constantly bashed as the worst player in Code S history by Artosis and Tasteless. Everyone made fun of him for blocking his nexus with a cannon. No way he would have been the known favorite going into that game. After we saw him get two straight final 4s, it was a little more believable.

Nestea for sure, PvP is volatile but ZvP will be a lot harder for an upset.

Byun may surprise us ... still betting Loisira because he is just that good but this one is less certain.

That was back before San made his name known and considered the WORSE player in Code S after LegalMind was knocked out.

As a zerg player I want both to advance, but as a zerg player I don't want a ZvZ finals.

Though I would enjoy LosirA vs Nestea for teacher vs student as a storyline. Were that to happen LosirA might as well be named Inca for a summary of the finals.
