We say everyone not from Korea is a "foreigner" because for a decade the Professional Starcraft scene only really existed in Korea, so everywhere else was lumped together as "foreign". The tradition carries into SC2 because Korea remains the place with the best players and best training.

If enough countries really stepped up their game and reached parity with Korea, we would probably stop using the "foreign" term, but for now, since no other country has a developed and organized Professional Starcraft infrastructure, it's Korea vs the world.

The thing is I could put up with the talking after the overlong shit vids if it was more like HC3 instead of 20 minutes of incontrol just hunched over his screen, looking sideways at his co-anchor, and then nodding his head up and down like a gorilla.
