After losing to HasuObs in the TSL Sjow in the last Dreamhack Getting destroyed by Idra in a favorable extended series at MLG Getting beaten by Socke so many times. Now he beats PredY (arguably easiest draw) then Socke (about time he beat Socke once) and July (okay ONE good result) and he's the best :S? You can do that with any player. Frankly there is no dominant player in the foreign scene who you cannot just cut down in the manner you just did to HuK. HuK is on the top tier along with many others like Sen, Thorzain, and Naniwa. Right now he is showing that the top tier can compete with Korea, just as Thorzain showed it as well.

There is NO player that can really claim the title as the best foreign player (yes, Huk is foreign, so STFU all those korean fanboys). No one is really consistantly dominant enough to really claim that title in my eyes. It was definitely Jinro for a while, but that time is long past. HuK has as big a claim as anyone though, so I guess you're just one the many people that dislike him.

Most people give so much credit to his "korean" training (which is due, to some extent), but I feel they keep forgetting that before it all and deep inside, Hulk is a damn good player. I don't think anyone is denying that, but a rough diamond will only become pretty with some serious polish/cutting.

Can you say that any other foreigner could make it out of the group stages? Making out of the group stages in Code S is amazingly difficult now. The player quality has risen amazingly in the past few months. Even players like MVP have fallen from Code S to Code A. MMA isn't even in Code S.
