Sadly it seems I have to put this up yet again. Any of the following types of posts will be met with immediate bans:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining/Off topic arguing.

Stick to the games and enjoy the event and its free services and coverage.

would be cool to get a pm with some recommendations!

Just look around for some psytrance. That's the generic category.

Psytrance pre 2000 that is. Back when it was awesome.

He 2-0:d both LaLush and Moon.

Great semis coming. I hope its HuK vs Bomber, but i think we might have a tvz in our hands.

I missed the Nani vs Moon games, was it a close call or a complete rollover?

So impressed with Moon also. He has made a believer out of me. Once a Moon hater now a fan and believer. Damn he has improved.

must be some crazy games?

sen went muta into ultra second game and just muta in the third game, july rolled him with standard roach/hydra/infestor (i learnt something new in LR today!)

Sen decided to go muta for some reason instead of playing the standard roach/infestor for the last 2 games and basically threw it away.

July's always been one of my favorite zerg players. Finding out that he was playing sc2 is actually what got me back into the game. I like Huk's playstyle as well and would love to see him advance. So this is an odd situation, I don't know who to root for.

If July wins, I want him to win the entire tournament. He needs a finals victory after the GSL matches against MC. It's not july yet so all signs point towards this not happening, but still.

most would say sen threw both games away by trying to force mutas to work in both games. july smacked him

Bomber 2-1 Moon

Then Bomber 3-1 HuK in the finals if I get those right

so sad for naniwa currently there are no foreigners able to compete with the koreans, i dont get why .
i mean torch said somethign very smart about it: foreigner pros are interacting a lot with the comunity and not focusing nearly enough on the game, on the long term we're going to see the koreans dominating once again if the trend doesnt change.
and that's exactly what's happening

No offense but that's a pretty stupid comment from Torch. Interacting with the community doesn't make you a worse gamer by any means. Korean dominance has more do to with the (politically incorrect) fact that the average intelligence is higher in Korea and in East Asia in general, and that is also the reason China is pumping out millions of engineers and scientists, and Japan is a leader in hi-tech industries.

And that's a big part of the reason why we see Koreans dominating these competitions.

What do you say to that kind of argument? I guess nothing would be the best choice.

Let me count the number of world class asian chess players really quick... oh, that didn't take long. Maybe culture has a little to do with it in the end, but I don't know, my IQ is only western european.

No asian chess grand masters? Yeah, because in asia we have a real game called "Go". How many world class non-asian Go players are there? Oh, that didn't take long. Lets see, go...

Requires both sides of the brain (instead of mainly just the left side chess requires)
The order of magnitude of the order of magnitude (yes that repetition was intentional) of the complexity of Go is higher than chess
You can't program a super computer to give the top player in the world a handicap and win (the best Go program in existence can't even beat a player who has been barely playing for half a year, the best chess program can give the best chess player on earth a 1 pawn handicap and win)

Chess? Please. I'd rather play Go.

Man, somehow Moon is playing completely different than he did in group stages. (specifically against Tarson....)

owned LaLush and Moon both 2-0 in grps. but his pvz is not too solid, wish i could be more hopeful. =/ I honestly think Socke would have had a better shot.

Huk's pvz is a heaps better than he is given credit for. I'm optimistic.
